  6. Communist assassins on Music Copyright War Looming · · Score: 1

In a capitalist country the artists would be able to raise capital by selling shares in their enterprise. They could then hire the recording companies offering the best terms. Ditto for any other enterprising person with a good idea. The government regulation and legal system have made it too expensive to do this unless you're already rich. This protects the rich from competition from the poor, and keeps the poor voting for communist governments who are paid off by the rich to pretend that more regulation and expense will punish the rich, but actually protects them from competition from the poor.

  11. Solution on Limits On Growth of Energy Use and Economies · · Score: 1

It's only a problem and no solution can be found if you're a communist. Capitalists see problems as solutions waiting to be found, which is how we got this far. The thinking that we are in an unsolvable problem is related to the communist takeover of our world, and is, in fact evidence of that. If you think this is a real problem then you have already been eugenically modified into a subhuman by the godless communist religion of political correctness.

  13. Addiction on Mass Psychosis In the USA? · · Score: 2

The vast majority of the over-prescribed drugs have no medical efficacy. The only quality they have is that they are addictive. The drug companies see this as their business model, and so produce new addictive products. Their control of the government protects them from low cost competition (DEA) at a cost to the taxpayer of 100 billion dollars a year. The government forces users to obtain their drugs from pushers, who steer them toward the most addictive (profitable) drugs. So the drug companies use doctors as pushers. In Canada, doctors write huge numbers of prescriptions for drugs which the government pays for (especially Oxycontin), then sell them out the back door for cash.

  18. Charade? on Data Review Brings Major Setback In Higgs Boson Hunt · · Score: 1

My idea has always been that the Higg's particle is responsible for the recycling of the universe, which will occur when it is observed. When the announcement of its possible discovery was made I knew it was wrong because the universe still existed. My suspicion is that the scientists have come to the same realization and are now not really looking for the Higg's, just eating up the budget but staying away from the actual experiments that would be conclusive.

  19. Re:Answer: on Have We Reached Maximum Sustainable Population Size? · · Score: 1

People with capital make decisions to allocate this capital to people with ideas to exploit using this capital. People who make the right choices of which ideas to allocate their capital to, profit. Lather, rinse, repeat. The capital increases in the hands of those who successfully allocate it. Profit all around. Entropy sets in when the government forces the allocation of this capital to unproductive ideas (welfare scams, patent lawyers, political correctness, lawyers, regulations, etc.) A simple solution would be to force the government to pay all the costs of complying with their interference, still inflationary, but not interfering with the capitalist process, the source of the wealth.

  21. Emotion := experience. on Physical Pain and Emotional Pain Use Same Brain Networks · · Score: 1

My theory is that there is a one-to-one correspondence between our emotional state and our experiences. For each experience we can encounter, there is a discrete emotional state. This is possible because emotions are produced by neurotransmitters, whose discrete values in combination are able to produce enough discrete emotions to represent each and every possible experience. So by modulating our neurotransmitter levels we can have every possible experience, since emotion := experience. This can be done through drug therapy, hypnosis, religious bafflegab, brainwashing etc. In fact, the whole universe could be an emotional experience dreamed up by our psychological state.

The communist governments you support can only keep economic growth happening by force-feeding the country with population growth. Capitalism could get us past this crunch but it has been outlawed so the government can borrow cheaply without competing with capitalistic needs. The force-fed population produces 400 times the carbon that it did in its native country, so the government must save the world from this problem (they created) by imprisoning anyone caught firing up their barbie or charging their cell phone.

The Higg's field will not exist until the LHC discovers (creates) the Higg's particle. The function of the Higg's field is to create and destroy the universe. Immediately after its creation, the Higg's field will expand to the size of the universe, representing a force which will strip the characteristics from the elementary particles, leaving a universe which is super symmetric, has zero entropy, and is timeless. The field will then cool and undergo a phase change which will restore the characteristics to the particles and the new universe will be reborn. Since the initial conditions will be the same each time this happens, the resulting universe will unfold exactly as this one did, right down to your lack of shoelaces.
