  1. VOIP has it's limits on Net Neutrality Never Really Existed? · · Score: 1, Redundant

Since VOIP uses data compression I suspect that it is lossy. Voice can have lossy compression and still sound good to the ear. Even music can work. Since FAX is data that is embedded in higher audio frequency, I would expect it to not work becuase of lossy compression. POTS is analog all the way and has very little loss (except for analog filtering).

    Anyone else know about this?

"Children have to learn that moral values that are thought to them by school and by religion are not absolute"
You need to grow up! maturity is realizing that moral values are absolute. By treating them any other way is saying "I adjust my moral values to the situation" which is saying "I have no moral values". Right and wrong are black and white. To say the are gray is to have no morals at all.

Like morals being absolute, I set the rules in my house the same way. By the way, I never did like playing violent video games, they were contradictory to my values. No games rated 'M' are allowed in my house. My teenage boys are to leave any location where 'M' games are played. They understand this rule and follow it. They have told me that they have left other's homes becuase of this and I have evidence that backs that up. I inherited an 'M' rated game and my boys reminded me that is had to go. By holding on to this rule, our values are never comprimised. This is a life lesson my boys will carry with them always.

Breakdown of society occurs when there are no morals.

Yes, the instruction set is old, but, it does still work. As a consumer, why should I have to re-invest in software that I purchased and does the job, just becuase my hardware failed, or faster hardware becomes available and I upgrade. Apple bit that one some time ago. Last year, I had an investment of $4000.00 in software when Intel came out with a significantly faster part that was dropping in price. Just by upgrading my hardware (cost $800) my invenstment improved significantly. $4800.00 did not justify the upgrade but the low cost of hardware only, did. Also, there was not learning curve involved.

You don't buy a new car just becuase the tires need replaceing (well some people do, but that is rarely the fiscally responsible thing).

If it ain't broke, it doesn't need fixing.
