The army is the army, . The big worry is that the military gives
extreme coercisive power to some people . It does not give as
much as it once did but it still gives a lot of power to people.
When you give that much power to people to run the lives of
other people , there has to be some mechanism in place to
make sure that they do so in good faith, good concience and in
full obedience to the law and the best interest of the United
States. My worry is that during the transition, while people are
trying to figure out what it all means, that it will enable
someone who does not fit the standards that we would like to
have for someone who leads people but will instead allow
someone to persue their own peculiar interests . I could care
less about what the PV1 s are doing when the lights go out so
long as no one is hurt and no one complains, but I care alot
about what the people who lead those PVTs is doing, on the
weight of their character and what influences their decisions.
People always talk this issue talking about the PVTs, but this is
not an issue for PVTs this is an issue of who in their chain of
command and what the consequences are .

I'm an OEF vet and when I went to the VA TO get assistance with my mTBI (mild traumatic brain injury) issues, I got a chorus of replies passing foff the issues affecting to some other cause. Now TBI, that is fucking obvious I've seen guys with that, its devastating. However I guess since mTBI only kinda fucks my life up, as opposed to making me unable to function, it seems it could have been caused by a bunch of other things. All the advancements won't mean shit to the boots on the ground until/unless the VA can/will decide helping the vet is the most important thing, not minimizing/controlling vet's possible future disability claim.
I Hope i'm not duping someone else who already fixed the the misconception here. The game just won't be sold at the On base version of WalMart. It's a decent, convenient place to shop, sometimes has good deals, but it's just one fucking store. Porn isn't sold there either but you really thing Soldiers or sailors don't have porn? (I was both, and I never wanted for my playboy) Airman are of course Androgynous A-sexual drones they don't count for this discussion.
