    They aren't 'donating' per se -- yes, they're giving it away at no cost, but it's VERY good publicity for them.

    Just think how good it sounds to have two tech companies donating tech to relief efforts. NOw, if only FEMA would get with the times and realize that not everyone uses windows/IE...

    What kind of idiot thinks that IE is the best thing out there?

    Is there some feature on the site that REQUIRES IE (such as ActiveX)? If there's not, what the hell were they thinking? This is blatant discrimination against those who use alternatives to Windows/IE.

    It's that way in high school, too. Rather than focusing on teaching us how to 'click here' or 'type this in' or whatever, the should focus on giving us the proper skills to find the answers to questions we don't know the answers to.

    Indeed. I have a girl like that. She just recently became interested in computers, but damn, she's hot when she's working... not sure if it's the hard drives, the cables, or what. But damn, you're right.
