    So people who are going into debt are 'bad guys'? I guess that means most of America. Oh wait, that's what they're going for. You're right of course - none of these laws are aimed at stopping terrorism. All they want is more control and power - and they get it, because people for the most part believe what they are told.

    Also, never forget: good old cash is amazingly good at anonymizing you when you buy things in meatspace. I never buy something with a credit card or debit card if I have enough cash on me - and I almost always do. Unfortunately wearing a balaclava for the full anonymous effect is frowned upon in places of business :p

    I'd be willing to wager that if someone was raised from a young age, having only Unix/Unix derivitave experience and knowledge, they would have some (albeit less) issues with Windows or OSX.
    I was raised using Windows and I started having some issues with it within 5 years of first using it. If you know what I mean. It was something to do with the disgusting interface, memory waste, stupid filesystem(s), and the list goes on. By the time I switched to Linux I hated every minute of Windows use.
    Everything has its annoying fanboys who don't help people and decide to just respond with "RTFM" or similar comment.
    Man, I hate Linux fanboys too. Oh wait...

    Maybe that's the case if you don't care enough to run your own server. But at your own admission, most of your arguments are utter bollocks if you use the most recent version. Isn't the first thing OSS developers ask when you mention a problem "Are you running the most recent stable version?"

    You can use old versions of software and they aren't good! Eating food that has been in my fridge for 3 years makes my tummy hurt! Walking in dark alleys in the Bronx got me mugged!

    Nice idea. However, why are you spelling Ubuntu with an o? It doesn't have one. Lately I've been seeing quite a few people spell it wrong in the same way - is there some language issue that explains it?

    No. That's stealing - for the sole reason that the owner no longer has the product. Media piracy is copyright infringement, not stealing. Learn the difference - crimes have different names for a reason.
