If I remember correctly, employees were "encouraged" to show their loyalty by investing a lot of their 401k's in Enron.
    Also:
"Enron limited employees' investment freedom from the start by matching their contributions only with company stock and by preventing employees from selling that stock until age 50."

In Florida, after Hurricane Wilma, all of Broward county lost power for 1-4 weeks...except for my town. The only difference is that our power lines are underground. The cost of repairs to the rest of the power grid was estimated at close to $6 billion. At least in hurricane prone areas, the extra investment is well worth it.

Since there are a finite number of generations between 'ape' and 'human', the process is necessarily stepped, not continuous.

Now that's just nitpicking. The change between two consecutive generations is subtle enough to be unnoticeable. That makes it a continuum for all practical purposes.

We understand the situation you're complaining about, but making statements that don't hold up to basic logic isn't going to make creationists any more reasonable about their standards of proof.

Nothing you say will make creationists any more reasonable about their standards of proof. Nothing whatsoever. It is a complete waste of time to try. Blind faith doesn't require evidence and doesn't acknowledge evidence.

I definitely don't agree about the FCC. I think it's an excuse and cop out by Stern. Instead of putting on an entertaining show he complains about the FCC. Look at Seinfeld (the TV show) and Brian Regan they prove that you can be very entertaining w/o being dirty.

That's a very poor argument. Stern has become popular because of the kind of show he does. If he started doing Seinfeld or Cosby humor he would lose his audience.
