And I have no problem with Microsoft regarding the Xbox. I bought mine a couple of months ago and though it broke down on the first day I got it, their helpline was very helpful and offered to repair it but suggested I'd first try getting a replacement at the store since it broke so soon after purchase. Thankfully there was no problem at the store and I didn't have to wait the 3 weeks for repair.
I feel the exact same way. I remember creating my school's basement in a Wolfenstein 3D editor with a friend. It's the most obvious thing to do.... One of my dreams are still to recreate my hometown in 3D some day. But oh yeah, I can't recreate the habor becuase that had to be sealed off to be an international habour. Fuck I hate these so called defenders of freedom!
Syndicate and Ports of Call would also be nice on the DS. It seems that some companies has picked up on this. With Settlers, Sim City and Theme Park coming. And why not, I imagine it must be pretty cheap with all of the art already made just needing a bit of tweaking.
That's also what appeals to me about homebrew on the DS. It's kinda like being back in the early 90's. Only this time I actually know how to program:). The smaller screens makes the low res graphics nicer in my opinion. And having the stylus and touch screen you can have mouse and keyboard (on screen) functionality. It's really like having an instant on, old pc in your pocket.
I don't have a single preference for playing games. I'm all for playing a game "for fun's sake". But at the same time I don't mind playing a game, or more likely, watching a movie with some social critique. To sum it up, it's not all or nothing. I'm getting kinda tired of his attitude.
Well, they do have games where the release date is "To Be Announced". But I still think the comparison with DNF is unfair since I don't believe Spore has slipped any date yet.
Fair enough. I misunderstood your comment.

Don't they have an obligation to make that hardware work though?
Also Starcraft came out in 1998. It's not like Blizzard rushed out a sequel just to cash in.

Look out, the terrorists are everywhere!!
Just posted to remove my "overrated" moderation which wasn't meant for you.

Eeep, that was kinda creepy. Swear I didn't see your post there! :)
You're in luck. Sim City is coming to the DS this summer.
How about the rest of the world go use another desktop environment then? Troll...
Well, real time procedurally generated content then?
from the 1-+-1-=-thinking dept.
My neural network actually hurt trying to decipher that...
"this attitude" sorry. Nothing personal.

I use ie. "02 November 2006" when ever I write a date on a homepage or where ever. I think that minimizes confusion.

Ok, I see. I guess this keeps people from overtaking other players planets while they're still at a low stage of evolution.
June 1, 2007 according to Gamespot. I belive it's been on schedule so far?
I believe there is some form of multiplayer in other players inhabiting other planets.
For some reason the second last page has a wrong link. The 1st place really goes to Fallout and not Half-Life.
My thoughts exactly. I mean, jesus, the answer is right there in the link... but no... that's too much effort!
That's 50%... for a 3 button keyboard!
Duck and cover!
Better start looking out for Damocles!
Well, if you lived on Eris anyway...
It'll be like in the good ol' C64 days. :)
Yeah, they're such underrated games (1 & 2 that is).
I believe the third game was made by some other company.
It's like they missed the whole point of the original games.
