Agreed. As long as it's kept open source I can't see what's to bitch about. You're still free to use what ever environment you want, and the apps should still work as long as you got the required libraries. So all those old school people should just accept that many of us newcomers would like to use a unified desktop. It's adding to linux, not taking something away.
