I use Windows xp with the classic theme. I have at most one window open persistently, and when I'm working I try to keep it to five windows or less. I can do about ten tabs in SeaMonkey before it gets too cluttered for me. I also have about 14 Notification icons.
When I tried to play through the game the second time around, it would crash every 15 minutes or so. I think my power supply is to blame, but still... with those load times, it's not fun.
ipCop is a Linux distribution, not a personal firewall.
FYI, a personal firewall protects a single computer and can, among other things, prevent specific programs running on that computer from accessing the network.
> Strike out immaterial law. Every last bit of it.
Not every bit. They want a five-year commercial-only copyright term; allowing for non-commercial copying and use during that period.
Also, personal information and trademarks are to retain their protection.
> Disregard WIPO and WTO completely. Even though the US will "go bananas" as they put it.
Again, not completely. The WTO regulates some non-IP issues, on which the Pirate Party has no opinion.
It's intellectual, and therefore NOT property. :)
Autonomous Mobile Swords... Well, so they're not autonomous yet, but just you wait. :)
Someone had to say it.
This sounds like Psychohistory to me.
In Soviet America, the paper reads you!
I recommend e-paper. The device I've tried, the iRex iLiad, works in all well-lit environments. It even runs Linux.
I browsed through the 411 MB ogg file, but could not find any chicks. Where are they?
It's not like we run all our IP over Avian Carriers.
"What do I look like, an orc?" "This is not Warcraft in Space!" "It's much more... sophisticated!" "I know it's not 3-D!"

We actually have phone net neutrality in Sweden. In most areas, you can use any operator regardless of who owns the landline.

Your UID isn't prime. 16654877 is divisible by 73.
Hardware is not licensed under the GPL. Only the software is. This is why Linus is right and RMS is wrong.
Naysayers say nay!
You know, they could just install Adblock and forget about it.

I pay 200 SEK (about 27 USD) per month for my full-duplex 10Mbps connection. Rather cheap even by Swedish standards. :)
Exeem was a commercial piece of krap. What's needed is a free, OSS solution. It won't be picked up hella-fast, but I know it's technically possible.
This, I think, clearly shows the need for a distributed publish/search mechanism for BitTorrent, like eMule's Kad network.
