"The whole mentality behind searching people to get on a airplane promotes false security. We can't even stop weapons in our prisons, and we will NEVER be able to stop deadly weapons on airplanes."

There's a slight diffrence between making a shank out of a tooth brush, and detonating liquid explosives in a shoe mid flight. Although both options could end up killing someone, it's much more difficult to sneak a bomb past 'trained' security personel.

Wait wait wait... Are you seriously trying compare the President of the United States visiting a city in the US to a bunch of farmers causing some traffic in Canada? They are two very different things with the same effect. You don't get to work.

"I think you need to get out of Ottawa and come live in the USA to find out what it's all about. You OBVIOUSLY don't live here"

Really now... What is it all about anyway? I mean, if you think a little traffic makes the US a place to teach someone a lesson in social disturbance you must obviously have a good point that I don't see.

If you want to go into some examples though, I'm sure it's a bitch to get to work in Lebanon.

It's because everyone is working on their own thing at google. It's not like an entire company or group is dedicated to making a single piece of software work, much of google's software is developed using employee's 20% time. (Google Suggest)

They are spread kinda thin, and like you said, they just run full force with any idea they get until it's too difficult to do and it loses speed. Not all of their projects are like this, but sometimes things just don't work out the way you planned. Much like all forms of software projects~

If it's broken in Firefox, I automatically assume that what the site offers isnt important enough to switch browsers. Unless I know what I need is there, I probably wont venture past it.

Make sure to support the standards and your target demographic. If you're looking to cater to older people, keep it simple. You dont need something that requires the newest software to work with old people anyway for the most part. Also, it wouldent hurt to provide links on your site and instructions on how to update software, that is if you really need to alienate part of the target audience. Make sure to mention that some parts may not work in XYZ browser too...
