Like a few others here I would much rather see OSX installed on my windows box. Apple stuff is nice but I don't really wanna pay that much for the "look". I like OSX and have always had a enjoyable experience working with it. But I don't like it enough to shell out 2 grand.

What movie did you watch? Wasn't anything like the books? You were either asleep or went into the wrong theater. True they did cut a few parts out I wish they had left in, but overall the movie followed the book very closely. The animation was well done, and you should try turning your hearing aid back on if you thought the sound effects wer crap, or try going to a new theater.
I have to agree, if it wasn't for the fansubs I wouldn't have bought about 90% of the anime thats currently in my collection. They should be thanking the fansubbers not trying to make them out into criminals.
will the cybermonday sales ad's be leaked on the net? I hope these people do a better job next year, I couldn't find a single one for amazon, tigerdirect, or newegg!!
I will be buying an X360 to replace my Xboxes which currently run as extenders. I have less than 10 games (most bought used). If MS is losing money on every X360, then they'll lose 3x that with my units.
Well on one hand I'm sickened at the fact you are buying a Microsoft product (this being slashdot and all), but on the other hand you will be costing them large amounts of money....
He's a great author for the first book in a series. Seems like he loses steam after that. Just look at the Ender series, and Enders Shadow (Bean) series. Both started out strong, but just got worse and worse with each one.
I think you need to brush up on your world events. We tried that. And when the goods wern't going to some warlord of the country we were trying to help, we were basically told to stay the fuck out and mind our own business from the rest.
Either you detain them and we get stories like this poping up, or you don't and once it is a actual bomber or something and people looking for someone to blame start asking "well he was clearly suspicious, he should have been stopped, detained, and questioned. Had that happend we wouldn not be dealing with one of the worse tragedies of our time." Sad but true.
I'm a little lax in how this works, but what if the server my blog was on is in canada? Do I get fined as a US citizen because I wrote it from here? Or since I live with in driving distance of of the boarder what if I posted it on the other side? Because I'm a citizen do I still face the wrath of the over paid government?
They are trying to put as many eggs in as many different baskets as they can, can't say that I blame them. If they just stuck with search engine profits they might have a similar.com era fall out.

You would think that yes, since you paid for it you should be able to download it. However what if you download it while you have the CD and then loose the CD? Or what if you have the CD ripped to your HD and no longer have the CD? Is it illegal then? Was it ever legal to begin with?

If you want something to game on DS, if you want something that so far only has PS2 ports, and is mostly a movie player go with the PSP.
