  1. It's safer there on 1" Hard Drives in Cellphones on the Rise · · Score: -1

I suppose that small harddisc is safer in a mobile than in my pocket, risk of losing such small items is huge these days.

With holes in my pockets and all that.

  2. Re:Trusted Computing? I think not! on Trustworthy Computing · · Score: -1

I assume the issue comes from the method Microsoft wants to distribute their systems. If they allowed "unofficial" people to create "updates" for their system, then they would have to release source codes which could get leaked. Microsoft would not risk that.

And then of course, Windows is probably the worst structured OS that exists.

  3. Who'd copy? on Microsoft Set To Be Fined $2.4M a Day · · Score: -1
Microsoft says EU demands will allow competitors to copy its work
"Allow," perhaps, but who in their right mind would copy an already bleeding OS?

I suppose "FreeWindows" might be something unheard of, but perhaps in the future it might happen.

So when you buy the set, does it come with instruction on how to play "Smoke on the Water"?

Or does it just assume you are playing the F notes?

  6. Metric System? on Ask The Mythbusters · · Score: -1

Have you ever wondered about using the Metric System instead of the Imperial one?

I know my Discovery are so kind to translate the units to Metric systems, but they are having problems with the subtitles lately, and I have no idea what a feet, pound or a mile is.

My main reason is that the Metric System is more used as an international standard, and consider what you do for science.

  7. Re:Is the market really moving? on Unisys: We No Longer Have A Way Out · · Score: -1

Everything must come to an end. Surely Microsoft will too someday.

Besides, I am not entirely sure when it will happen. Since it still covers over 90%* of all desktop PCs, I am that sure it will happen any given day, but I can only support moving in the right direction.

    *note: I don't have a source for this, but that's what I'm told. :o

  8. Re:What Next? on SCO Tells Courts What IBM Did Wrong · · Score: -1

Well, my guess is that Microsoft will sue construction sites for creating "objects" with windows in them.

But you can't blame SCO for not trying.

  9. Hmmm... on Student-Made Satellite Goes Into Orbit · · Score: 0, Interesting

Guess it just proves that it's easier to get a satelite in orbit these days.

I mean, Denmark have two satelites in orbit ( I think ). Despite our current government is cutting down on it ( though they are saying they are not ), pfft, politicians.

Anyways, I hope their satelite stays in orbit for a bit longer than that last one. :

  15. Wrong based on AOL to Replace AIM with Triton · · Score: -1

Basing a Web Browser on IE would be one of the stupidest thing to do if you don't want to kill the non-standard HTML code floating the web.

But really, I've never trusted AOL, and most of their members are newbies, and in some IRC channels, *.aol.com is banned.

But hey, they have to make a living of something.

I don't have much information on it though, I saw for a long time ago ( I just remember the screen where they blew up the Earth ). :)
