Ugh...no kidding. Emergency preparedness and environmental science were a pain! (meaning you actually had to do real work...:-p).
Swimming was not a cakewalk either.
Of course...gov't agencies and other large entities will get whatever support they pay for...which means they can get SP1 support if SP2 screws up their software.
I used to love going to my grandma's when I was younger, as long as we took our sx-64 (this was 1991) and I can totally see doing something like this for kids...but I think it would need to be purchasable assembled. *shrug*
Please define #1... I know what you mean...but somehow saying intel is #1 implies that they are superior in quality. The newest ones are acceptable quality, but they really don't have the staying power of nvidia's or ati's integrated. I think the laptops with x1600s will be running smooth in a year or two, while the intel ones will be chugging.
http://www.meritline.com/neracoclcddv.html these are perfect, as a test I chucked one of these with a cd in it against a brick wall from 6 feet at full force...the case it self was scratched, but not broken, and the cd was fine. worked for me but I wouldn't suggest it on a regular basis as ymmv.
And the awful orcish garb! Just like golf!!
Well...at least after a round of golf you can go get a beer at the clubhouse...
I just don't think I could sell my boss..."meet me at (good WoW meeting place here), we'll discuss the latest figures"
despite what the corporations tell us, I'm still sticking to the common culture reference, its easier not to have to explain it to people all the time...
(pick your battles wisely)
This is really great to see a working Babbage computer out of legos, its not as accurate as Babbage's design...but amazing none the less.
Too bad Babbage didn't have legos when he was trying to get funding to build his computer!
The lego PC mock ups are nice, but nothing compares to a real working mechanical lego computer:-P
wow...read...the problem I'm stating is that its dual core AND HTT. you pay several hundered more to get the htt on dual core...and the problem is some software doesn't know the difference between the physical cores and the logical cores...so a dual core without htt would've been a good choice...and the fx-60 is a dual core fx-57.
$85 for the wiimote AND nun chuck, thats a serious chunk there if they throw in 3 extras so you have a full four...
adblock/noscript ftw...
should be part of FF...

I guarantee you there will a line somewhere stuck in the EULA that covers it perfectly.
I set my grandparent's computer to autoupdate...they got SP2 after about 4 months of less than an hour a day average online time iirc.
You can slipstream SP2 without burning it to a dvd drive...I've done it many a time.

Just cut it off while you're only slightly behind...gotta love MS

Uh...that's not gonna work...all the different places his noise maker is bouncing off...you'll likely just add a 'warble' to it if you do that.

I think he may be referring to this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Appellate_jurisdictio n

lol...dumbass Too bad your parents didn't.
IIRC the discs don't spin backwards, the laser reads from the outside in and THATS why people can't pirate the discs.
That was mentioned in TFA. I think its a bunch of silliness and YAEOWCTLG (yet another example of walmart crushing the little guy)

If we all go visit their site at once will they see it as a DDOS? :-p
This is a cool idea, doesn't seem terribly novel to me though.

Pentium EE...dual core with htt...bad combination...very silly choice. FX-60 would be more impressive.
