1. Yes. For instance you can't install Rockbox anymore on the new iPod classic.
2. Yep. And after each update you have to wait for the jailbreak, which is also uncertain.
3. And it is only legal in the US.
The last Apple jailbreak was a remote exploit, and it was left unpatched for weeks. This is very serious, yet most fanboys were just proud it was so "easy" to jailbreak their iPoos.
That's what I was wondering.
2×6 cores is worse than 1×12 cores, because you lose cache sharing, and it will run hotter and consume more power. Apple is lying to its customers nothing new here.
I have 8 GB of memory and never reboot, nor close apps. The latest Firefox versions are much more efficient in their memory usage, or at least constant (2 GB fro me, but I have a lot of extensions and in-memory caching). When I run a profile without many extensions (only adblock some small stuff) it is much faster though. So, not many memory leaks, but it's still too slow and bulky.
I have an old computer (almost ten years old) but with an upgraded case, PSU and heatsink (much much better than what was available at that time). Good (but no "server") parts. Result: 663 days uptime (behind an UPS). Not on Windows, of course.
They aren't making much money on the iOS side either.
Idon't have an Android phone. Not everything is iPhone vs. Android, the iPhone didn't wait for Android to suck.
And it could be ported to other kernels, a BSD for instance.

Is randomly losing data ACID? If no, MongoDB is not ACID.
There are iPhone owners who are not morons or sluts?
Who said that? You're missing the point, macfag.
That's because Apple thinks fans are not pretty. Macs usually have a lot of overheating issues. Buy a real computer.

Hard drives have ECC, some filesystems too, and there's RAID. I don't know about all network transports, but most have ECC at various layers.
They were smaller devices when the iPod came out. I had one, and no one knew what was a mp3 player back then.
Ican't use "touch" stuff at all. It is painful and inefficient. Apple UIs are all about intuitiveness (and being shiny), not ergonomics.
There is a script at http://a.ngus.net/bitlbee_rename.pl and there is also one for minbif at http://git.symlink.me/?p=romain/minbif.git;a=blob;f=scripts/irssi/minbif_rename_facebook.pl

Using Windows and most of all IE is not a sign of a big penis.
You don't seem to know many women.
No. Why? RSI.
Typical Mac user. Just buy a good case by, for example, Antec. Better and cheaper than any Mac.
PCEngines have similar products, though cheaper and with the ability to use PoE (well, you need a "splitter").

Microsoft only proved that it is possible to sell poor products through marketing, but that's not the subject.
affect.
You can bite my shiny Plastik ass.
Fixed that for you.
