You just render out the seperate RGB channels to black and white film via a film recorder and make sure they either gold tone or selenium tone the film. Then its pretty solid for longevity. To get it back the film is scanned each channel screened against R G and B and voila you have your images back in color. (you are making a color separation and then mixing it back). Basically technicolor process. This is who major films are starting to be stored by both technicolor and deluxe. You can do the same with still and you can render them whatever size you like up to 8x10 res 80 which is an obscene size. Film recorder to 3 separated plates. Black and white film is pretty stable stuff. LIke 300 years when cared for properly.

Won't that create a permanent cloud layer around the planet given enough time and exponential human growth? We will always need more energy. We run out of ways to make that at some point. Even making a solar panels uses resources that will sill someday run out of. Just to be clear we are not killing the planet. We are killing the planets ability to sustain humans. Well we already have more people then can be supplied with proper food on the planet. We need population control on a massive level or nothing we do about climate change is going to matter AT ALL.

If I know I can only collect once on my original work before anyone can copy it then I am going to raise the fee I charge. Fees on photography went down after the 1976 copyright changes because photographers where given the rights of there works. So they charged less to sell the rights the first time around because they could make up on other sales after the terms of the initial usage rights lapsed.

OK maybe for some web bullshit but not for real retouching, pre-press or video work. Jesus I can load film clips right into photoshop now do my paint fixes on my FRAMES in a video layer then kick them back out and right into SHAKE OR NUKE OR FUSION OR FLAME. Do that in Gimp. Obviously for pre-press its useless since no CMYK OR SPOT COLOR support. Really just shut the fuck up I am sick of reading this bull shit. I have been doing retouching longer then anyone on slashdot I would bet. Started doing physical image retouching with perless water colors in the 80's then Imaginator workstations in 1988. GIMP BLOWS. I hate adobe I still use Live picture as much as I can. I was part of the Design Team for xRes at Macromedia. I know what I am talking about.

I will just awesome you are ill informed because it was proven long ago that it was not slaves who did most of the work on the pyramids. Not paid well and not paid are not the same thing are they? The apprentice system was for sure a paid system. They took the children and then paid for their room and board. In some cases the parent might pay to get the child in with a particular person or note, For sure the master was being paid for his art or he would not be the master. What do you think Verrechio was doing with that workshop that Da Vinci apprenticed in? Not getting paid? I was an assistant for many many year getting paid poorly. Again paid poorly is getting paid. So the BS about Not taking pay for your art is just fucking stupid and is usually said by people that are not talented artist or are not dedicated enough to there art to have to get paid for it. I make my life my art. Its not a side hobby its is my life and soul and people pay me for my time to create art for them or to buy my creations.

You might want to read this about who build the pyramids. You seem to need to.
