    Sounds like some kids at my school:
    *Kid is staring at teacher.*
    Teacher: Next, you do this...
    Kid: Wait, what do we do next?

    *Kid attempts math problem.*
    Kid: Hey! We never learned how to do this!
    Me: Um, yeah, we did, last year. The point of school is to remember what you've learned and learn more.

    This is a school on the north side of Chicago that's supposed to be so good that it causes young couples to move here.

    Not only what you said above, but they automatically install proprietary ATI and nVidia drivers, which assumes everyone has a high-speed Internet connection. Plus, it loads so much shit, it takes about five minutes to boot. Don't forget that CNR thing which is just like yum/apt/ports/portage, but costs $50 US per year to use. That's not gonna make people think GNU/Linux has a chance.

    I had the misfortune of Linspire being my first GNU/Linux (if it even deserves to have "GNU" in it's name with what they've done to it...) Then I switched to Fedora and I'm still loving it.

    I agree. OO.o is a huge bloated monster. That's why I use KOffice and GNOME Office when I've to use an office suite (otherwise I use XHTML/CSS).

    Yeah, that's really what everyone needs. It's very rare that Word's grammar checker helps. Usually it just points out words that are sometimes used incorrectly and does no check to see if the word is actually being used correctly and just bugs you.
