But I thought Canada was just a state in the US? Don't you guys have USPS? Wierd.

Sun vs. OpenBSD?

Um, you're the one being the clown. Sun claims that SPARC is an open architecure. They also claim that the US3 is part of SPARC. Now, if your big shoes don't get in the way, you can follow the path that will lead you to belive that since US3 is part of SPARC, and SPARC is fully open, then Sun needs to release the documents for the US3. If it is not open, then Sun needs to say that.
The second book (and therefor the second movie) is the weakest of the series so far. Don't sweat it. I'm really looking forward to the 4th one, to see how they handle all of that.
Yea, that Quidditch match was way to long, but I think that was a merchandising ploy to get kids to buy the Quidditch equipment.
He is a very powerful wizard, but he also has friends who will assist, and protect him. If you went out and did something stupid, wouldn't you like to have friends save your ass? They are all powerful in their own ways, but Harry is the best at magic.
Go read the books, you will be pleasantly suprised (esp the 4th, it is one of the best books I have read).
No, it's secure because no one has ever found a flaw in tinydns. He has a *cash* reward for anyone who can prove that it is flawed. No one has taken then money, in several years of it being offered.
But OpenBSD 3.2 is rather speedy on my TiBook. Some problems in the support (not very popular OS, on a not very popular machine) but they are being improved. http://www.theapt.org/openbsd/tibook.html
Right. Cause you don't make fun of southerners, canadians, or the french.
I live in San Francisco. I'm not gay, no dick goes in my ass, and I have a girlfriend.
You can make fat jokes about overweight computer programmers as long as they are funny. Not funny, and we'll have Dennis Nedry from Jurassic Park sit on you while he "debugs" you. (Please note: any lack of humor in the previous joke was intentional)
Yea, super easy.
/usr/include/c++
make buildworld
make buildkernel
make installkernel
rm -r
make installworld
mergemaster
reboot
(Check UPDATING for more precise instructions.)
only 3 months? I suppose the year delay before that doesn't count.
Before you think I'm a retard, why don't you look it up. I'm tired of doing research for people.
They are not innocent. They are open relays, and deserve the punishment.
Director1: Yeah! And maybe she can be a lesbian and seduce ...
Director2: Ummm No.
What do you mean no? Not a fan of the ladies, are you Trebek?

StackGuard is only currently implemented on x86

Hmm...then how come I have it on my OpenBSD/macppc system?
As for GCC3, well, check http://www.trl.ibm.com/projects/security/ssp/stat
He was just trying to overclock his Athelon.
Compilers are considered to be somewhat mature, when they can compile themselfs. Kudos to Wine and Cygwin for managing this.

And at work, I have to use windows, since we have a draconian "IT" department, and we have propriatary applications that I have to run.
At home, I run BSD exclusivly. Free and Open are my trees of choice.

I won't buy any more Music CDs.
Unless of course they are not copy protected. Most of their music sucks balls anyways.

You ARE reading this as anonymous coward aren't you? Oh, you're not? Irony is funny, except when it's not.

3rd party tools let you boot above 8G. There is experimental code that will let you boot above 8G, but there aren't enough testers avaliable.
For a while there I wasn't sure they'd ever get another release out
Every 6 months, right on schedual. There was a release last May, one last December, the June before that, December before that, etc, etc, etc.
Nope, they are embedded in the source for XF4. You have to run OpenBSD to see them. (Hint: they are #ifdef'ed)
Why? So it runs slower and is less secure?
Nobody expects the SpanishInquisition!
True, but OpenBSD works rather well on PPC. Only problems I have are related to special hardware (laptop) or endian-ness problems with people's code.
What the hell is runlevel 5 in FreeBSD? FreeBSD has single-user mode, and multi-user mode.
Reporters without Borders is censored at my work. Nice irony. =)
