They are not coining money or even creating it.. they are creating a comodity (the virtual money) and transfering it into current value cash
when you use the card and translate your (jsut and example) 1000 VD's to $10 for gas there is someone on the other side paying >=$10 for 1000 VD's
look at it more as a stock market and the VD's are the stock in the game and your card auto sells at or below market value for the VD to give you instant cash..
there is no creation of money jsut a trade exchange (abit a quick one but that is the wonder of automation)
my real question is who the hell is willing to pay real money for fake money, they are the ones driving the market and the price ratio
I have found that when using cookies (for logon and stuff like tracking users) i only use them in SSL - If you use secure cookies most of the anti spyware stuff will let them through.
and honestly if you site has SSL support why not redirect your users to that at all times (i do if they are loged in - even for message boards)
for most people it doesnt' really slow anything down except major downloads which you force to use http anyways
sorry i had to comment on keeping an updated hosts file.. you only need
127.0.0.1localhost
that is all that needs to be in there.. and if you are really that worried about it then you should just make it so that you don't have write access too it.

Well here in the US the EPA would kick the manufactures a$$
one thing most people don't realize is that on top of being toxic and crosive and jsut plain out bad for everything mercury is also extreamly hard to clean up.
the only thing that can be used to correctly clean it is pure sulfer - everything else makes a partial bond and doesn't clean it up, and afterwards you end up with something that is just as bad if not worse than what you started with....
while i agree it would be neat and more than likly would work realy damn well i will have to say that time is better spend working with non toxic stuff until we have no choice
i logged into my mail account for the first time the other day (been in school for 5 years) there wasn't anything worth reading - i am sorry you check it every day
Personaly for our small company i just took a computer that didn't have a large load - put google desktop on it and DNKA tools http://dnka.com/ - i am jsut testing it out right now but am quite happey with it
if they wanted to connect to exchange youc an jsut use exlodb
it is decently documented and functions well (abit slow with bad querys)
and i doubt that they would change the speck on it as it has been the same sence exchange 2k came out and if they did they would distroy way more than jsut google's tool. In fact i know many places that would rather change their network and handel security issues them selves than to install something that would screw up exlodb stuff, mainly because well it is a pain in the ass to get to work right and once you have it working you don't want to touch it.

I guess so.. i just don't see things worth selling, or i don't know how/who to sell them too.
i wasn't putting you down for selling images (i know some were) i was jsut putting it in a diffrent view.. that i for one keep my camera with me all the time to justify buying it.
mabey i will look at not using my DSLR once they get fluidic lens's working well.. but more than likly i will jsut get one for my DSLR:)
I still have an orginal Startac.. and i love it.. had it for many years... it started to have issues about two years ago so i went around and bought junk ones.. and now i have all the parts i need.. as long as i don't burn up the tuning chip i am set. i have had to rebuild this one about 3 times.. but it works and i will keep it working..
don't make them give you crap - take the effort and keep yours working.
I do almost the same thing.. i have the Rebel xt - a very nice camera and i love the lenses that i have and the filters but i am not out to sell images.
I just keep it with me because well you pay that much for something - you want to use it.. and make it worth it and the only way to do that with a camera is to keep it with you.
Sure nice DSLR's are bulky to cary with you but you know what.. the image it takes is worth the weight
