this is true.. there are many tsr's that can load before the OS.. now most of them only effected a specific os if the coder had though about it he could have doen alot more.
i can agree with this for dialup but not for DSL no spamer is dumb enough to use a dsl line.. as well it is easy to track.. and using a relay isn't an option most of these people travel alot and are on diffrent networks so they can't always use the relay.

I used to over clock cpu/gpu/memory back when i had a 486/p1/p2 but the last cpu i over clocked was a celron 300A sence then i have had no complaint with (not the best) but a decent set of equipment.. there was a long time when over clocking gave you a noticable diffrence.. but now it is really pointless
