What about prestige classes? There seemed to be much less emphasis on creativity in manipulating your character to what you wanted to be. To many people just picked a prestige class and took stills, not to fit their personality or style of fighting, but only because they were prerequisites for the prestige class.
Also what about social combat, is there anything added for that. That always seemed lacking in D&D in general, however it's a 1/3 of Exalted's attributes (Physical, Social, Mental). Charisma alone is too general.
It's ridiculous that some laptops don't come default with matching aspect ratios for the monitor dimensions and/or they have to be modified to not be blurry. Luckily I found a quick fix for my co-worker's new Windows XP work laptop though.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who is constantly reminded of XKCD when someone mentions Raptors... You are correct sir. Velociraptor
But I also think of Raptor Call of the Shadows. I played the heck out of that game.
Actually, if you price a Mac Pro vs. a similarly spec'd workstation from Dell, the Apple frequently comes in a few dollars cheaper. That's not really saying much to me as I don't buy anything from Dell. I build my own PCs and cut out the middleman markups.
Apple really does not have a high margin on base Mac Pros, ie without the ridiculous memory upgrade costs. Considering I've spec'd out comparable systems with parts from Newegg and Frys that cost anywhere from 50% to 66% the Mac Pro, I'd say they have a pretty hefty margin. It's sad that a year ago I made the same argument and it got labeled flame bait. Where you have a Score:3 Informative. I wonder what changed...
There is even a video of how to do this (that apparently got updated since I last saw it). Assuming you can't reverse engineer how it works just by looking at your search text.
0.02 cents =! $0.02 Did you really want your sig. to say "My (two hundredths) cents"? I would think if you're trying to say "My 2 cents", it would be that way or this way "My $0.02".
Somebody call Google and explain to them there's a new host that will host Google's search engine for $12. I think the point was that it's only for small to medium sized businesses. Such that they don't assume a small/medium sized business will need more than a certain amount.
However I do agree with you; I wanted to stress the business size detail. Don't you know 64k should be enough for anybody?
My friend is going for an MLA and considering getting a laptop she can tote around with her. We talked about the possibility of her getting a Mac. When it came down to it she'd have to pay twice as much and wouldn't get much benefit out of it. Macbooks start at $1099, hardware-comparable Vista machine $550. Additionally her school will be running Windows. She's not too computer savy and wouldn't be using it for much more than papers, spreadsheets, and the internet. These things she could easily do, despite the bloat, on Vista. It seems the only benefit she'd get out of it is knowing she didn't support Vista. Does anyone else have any other suggestions to tilt the scales in this debate?
He completely misses Maple Story, Rappelz, and Dungeon Runners, among others.
Maple Story, a cute side scrolling MMO.
Rappelz, an MMORPG by GPotato who has a total of 5 free online games to play that'll kill a lot of time.
Dungeon Runners by the makers of Guild Wars. For Dungeon Runners think a spoof of Diablo 2 meets WOW.
Who knows? It might be that Best Buy will send a C&D to Slashdot for covering the website that was covering the shirt. Or even worse, they'll send it for the dupe! Aren't you glad you posted AC? They might sue you for commenting on Slashdot which covered the website that was covering the shirt.
Not sure how to fix this divergence. Difficulty levels. Each difficulty level could have: Higher/lower health levels, more/less healing agents, more/less enemies on the screen at a time, more/less ammo, harder/easier puzzles etc. Sure some of those are the X you were talking about, but if you actually made a different playing experiences, like with the harder puzzles, then it'd be worth it not only to play on hard/insane and beat it for the challenge, but to play it on easy/medium to get to see different puzzles.
Dang it, if I reply to your comment then I can't mod you as funny.

You should have gotten her a thumb drive instead.
I like your idea, but wouldn't look forward to explaining to my non-techie friends that they all have to safe list me.
I agree. This is similar to the spam argument. Some people feel it's not a problem, just because Gmail has a filter that works most of the time.
You win the respect of /.
But do you win at excercise?
You ever make a plane with Legos? If so, you already know the answer.
Sometimes it's hard to tell if someone is trying to be funny, witty, insightful or is just plain stupid. I'm glad you're one of the former.

Yeah, they all have to learn Linux or OSX. The easiest way to get away from those pesky problems is to get away from Windows.
I assume if you post underage drinking photos you'd want that private. But if you're an underage drinker you're probably not smart enough to.

I've always wanted a long lasting battery. I hear batteries today are to die for!
You must also be using a quantum computer that can run a program before it's installed.
Yes, one of my favorite games for the Gameboy.
640GB should be enough for anyone... in Japan
Someone learned how to draw my fish.
