brood mares? wow, you don't sound racist at all. that and the fact that most of your references are from a very biased source. american emperialism is not limited to the middle east, nor did it start with this administration. in case you forgot, sharia law is most popular in saudi arabia. a country we happen to be very closely tied to. you seem to believe every muslim is a "jihadi". out of over 1 billion muslim worldwide, how many are terrorists? how many of them come from countries we support? going by that percentage, are all the irish terrorists? how about all hindus (tamil tigers)? maybe everyone from montana (oklahoma city). maybe all christians (abortion clinics). how about all jews (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_David_Hotel_bom bing)? stereotyping and racism like this will surely make the rest of the world like the middle east. perhaps that is what you want. btw, demography, population control, and genocide are closely related.

so much waste. reminds me of those long cardboard boxes they put around cd cases until the 90s because record stores didn't want to change their shelving. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Longbox not unlike those self-destructing dvds too. there seems to be no incentive to reduce packing waste. seems like the nicer the product, the more waste. if only most consumers weren't so easily dazzled, companies wouldn't spend so much money/materials on making stuff look nice on the shelf. companies should offer none fancy packaged versions. i'de get it even if they don't discount it, just to reduce some of the waste. maybe online retailing will change the "billboard on a shelf" strategy.

you guys are outraged because they put out something that only works on windows? a lot of software companies put out software that is windows only. they are satisifed to hit the majority in one swoop. you can still file taxes using traditional forms. democracy doesn't mean that every single person gets their way. i understand your argument of "to do it right, they could have easily....". do you guys seriously expect the govt to always do things right? how about ever? i think there are much larger issues to check the govt on...

  16. Re:Does it really matter? on Australia's 'e-tax' Windows Only · · Score: 1

i totally agree what you say about out of control incomes and equality. but your argument for not paying taxes is like those who say they download music because the music industry is evil. the proper way to boycott the riaa is not to listen to music they put out. if you want free music, just say so. if you want to change things, vote. not paying taxes won't change the govt, it just keeps more money in your pocket. it's basically stealing. unless of course you are not using public roads and stuff (or live outside the US). i think the tax system should be made more democratic. certain things be base (roads, universal healtcare, schools) and things like war be donation based. don't support the war? don't give money to it. we might actually see a day when the US isn't involved in some conflict somewhere in the world, a first in over 100 years. amazing when you consider we have no bordering enemies. i guess there is a reason the public is removed from most decision making in our "democracy".
