  1. Re-Encoding? on Using Watermarks to Combat Piracy · · Score: 0

What about if I re-encode the MP3 to OGG or WMA at a higher bitrate?

  2. Yahoo!.... and for that matter Google on Yahoo Allegedly Sells Reporter Out to Chinese Authorities · · Score: 0

I think if people stopped using their services they would change their business practices pretty quickly, let's hope "Internet People Power" can save the day. I for one am going to dump my email addresses with both and find a search engine/email combo elsewhere which has a more "user-friendly" attitude (and doesn't track my every move)

  4. I don't think the kids will be too bothered.... on Disney Buys Pixar · · Score: 0

...after-all as far as they are concerned Pixar *is* Disney. It's just us sentimental adults getting our knickers in a twist over it. We just got back from Disneyland Paris a few days ago and out of all the characters the kids have their photos taken with Sully out of Monsters Inc got mobbed, Donald Duck got a few hellos and Chip n Dale got ignored.... it's a child driven industry people!

  12. Spend Your Cash On Something Else on Graphics Card Comparison Guide · · Score: 0

The last time I bought a graphics card with extra features I wished I'd spent the 100 or so pounds on something more worthwile like a new bike for my son or a necklace for the wife, this time I won't be so quick to dump my current GeForce 5700 as apart from a slightly faster FPS it seems like my Radeon 8500 hasn't gone away... but that was a special card was it not?

IBM plans to be inside these new systems" What? A system that the wife can learn how to use? The "LARGE FIRMS" will have to pry the complicated and wife un-friendly PC from my cold dead hands - it's the only retreat I've got!

It runs as a service and takes up about 900k of memory when running. Not bad huh?

Kids are always getting sick these days because they don't eat enough turds.... speaking of which my youngest son (4) was today paddling in a muddy river and making a general mess of himself and having good fun trying to catch the fishies and throwing little sticks at the ducks.... I was happy that he was happy making a mess and generally acting the arse, I couldn't say the same if I was stuck in front of the TV whilst he was in the back room monging with a PS2. Common sense dude.
