    This was one of my favorite stories back in gradeschool (along with the Story of Ping). If I remember right, the special abilities of each of the five brothers were as follows:

    The first one could swallow the sea.
    The second one could stretch his legs indefinitely. (This was why he couldn't be drowned.)
    The third one could not be suffocated.
    The fourth one essentially had an iron neck.
    The fifth one could not be burned.

    Would it help to point out to those bastards that refusing cash is illegal? You can do that by pointing out that little statement on all U.S. bills: This note is legal tender for all debts, public and private.

    At least he has a county here in Washington named after him. I suppose that would be some small consolation.

    On the other hand, at least Jefferson got his face on the two dollar bill, while Washington is only on the one dollar bill.

    Yeah. I figured that was a long shot. But it would have been pretty hilarious if a bare bones, no frills browser like Dillo had passed the test. I was actually tempted though to post a screen shot of the results from Lynx or eLinks, but got distracted elsewhere. :D

    I've heard, and perhaps some reader here can either confirm or debunk this, that even after service has been terminated on a cell phone, 911 still remains active. If that is true, then anyone who is worried about not having access to 911 away from home could simply shell out the $5 to $10 at any thrift store for a deactivated phone in order to have quick and easy 911 capability.

    Of course I do. Even moreso though, I remember him as Easy Reader (also on The Electric Company). Now there is a show I would love to see released as a DVD boxed set or two.

    I operate behind a NAT box (Debian with ipmasq and GuardDog firewall). I've never had any problems getting BitTorrent to work, and don't have to ssh into the NAT box.

    BitTorrent Peer and BitTorrent tracker are two of the many protocols that you can set GuardDog to allow, block, or reject.

    NIC Card is correct, since NIC is Network Interface Controller. Not all NICs are cards. Some connect to a parallel port, and some are USB.
