This the plot of an old NCIS LA episode... The only way Hollywood could come up with a way to realistically steal a nuke was to have it be an inside job and even then it was just to manipulate the stock market. Even then I highly doubt they ship live nukes with the detonator installed via trucks. If they're gonna move live fully armed nukes they'll strap them to a bomber I know the anti-nuke crowd hate the DOE and the military but they're aren't recklessly stupid. Everyone knows they only do stupid shit when the Air Force puts them on bombers.
It was a $244 million plane when it was built and only a small fraction of that is for the plane itself probably under $20mil. Since then its flown thousands of hours reducing the planes value and if you RTFA you will see the only way to fix the plane is to basically rewing the entire thing which is an absurd concept given the age, cost, and location. They're lucky the wing didn't fail in flight and destroy the entire plane and kill the crew. It's far more economical to just pull the surveillance gear that makes up the majority of the planes costs and store it as spares to extend the life of the rest of the JSTARS.
MS should of focused more on mobile gaming in a phone form factor and launched with a larger Xbox focus and branding with well done game exclusives as away to stand out and draw gamers and then pop out some WP7 phone focused on business and the mid range phone with a less gaming optimized focus and lower specs.
If they can refloat her they can fix here given today's modular construction breaking a ships back doesn't mean the end of it. It just depends on if it would be cheaper to pay off or fix for the insurance company.
Yeah leaving the tv on is stupid but I was wondering about an ir controllers using usb or something though my tv and reciever can be powered on by android apps so they probably never fully power down.

This is all a bunch of showmanship from Iran to help internal politics and nothing else. For them to close the straight they have to attack a US carrier group which in and of itself is insane and if by some freak miracle they mange to sink a ship let alone a carrier it would bring the entire US 5th fleet down on top of them immediately followed up shortly by every air asset in the Air Forces inventory. Iran's entire military would be all but wiped out in days if not weeks and on top of that all there nuclear production would be wiped out. The US has the abilities to win any war with Iran we just can't get caught up holding land to win the peace like in Iraq where we won the war and pissed the peace away with an inept civilian controlled follow up. Besides closing the straight would piss off China just as much as the US leaving Russia the only Super power offering token support

While all the banks on the list were in the crapper and unable to lend cash lots of major companies borrowed from the Fed I see BMW Toyota and Ford on the list along with GE and Caterpillar Verizon and even McDonald's this sort of implies things would of been a lot worse if these companies were unable to secure funds though other means though it is odd that Korea as in the country is on the list though its for a small amount. Ford seems to of borrowed money from the Fed for there credit arm Ford Motor Credit which is not the same as the bailout to GM and Chrysler but more likely used to allow them to finance auto loans for customers and it was paid back 100% in under a year
If you can't reach a nuclear reactor within 72hours of it's cooling system failing then either the worlds already ended or yeah this is only an issue in anti-nuclear fear monger minds. All reactors are built near bodies of water so at most they'd need 72hours to air lift in a generator and a pump and I'm damn sure a reactors cooling system being down would be top of the priority list and the Air Force can chopper in a pump and generator or if that bad air drop them out of a C130. So outside of global nuclear war I can't see how in 72hours we couldn't mange to refill the tank either using onsite equipment or bringing it to the reactor.
I understand where a lot of the passwords come form but what is the basis for the 18th on the list "xiazhili" What does it mean? I doesn't line up with anything I can figure out like the others
Yeah because this generation where the parents got sent to jail or got there kids taken away for spanking them is so much more civilized and moral then previous generations.
