People who have a clue don't shop at a big box unless they need cheap mass produced common items. There's not much money in targeting the DIY who want obscure items when they can sell the millions of clueless idiots a similar item that works almost as good most of the time. Lowes and THD stores are aimed at the mass volume market or professionals who will just rebuild from scratch instead of trying some obscure fix that might work or they buy the lye, tsp, and other chemicals directly in bulk. Cotton roving isn't hard to find but it's mostly only in fabric and craft stores. Surveying chains have been replaced by Surveyors measuring rope(cheaper), distance measuring wheels (easierish), and mostly in the professional arena by GPS systems which are insanely awesome, accurate, and expensive.
It's all imported "junk" all must none of it's made in the US when it comes to power tools.
For power tools Ryobi, Craftsman (Portable power tools only), Milwaukee, and Rigid are mostly made by TTi in Taiwan and China. Stanley Black & Decker makes DeWalt, Bostitch, Black & Decker, Mac Tools, and Porter cable to name a few. Bosh makes Bosch, Skill, RotoZip and Dremel. Kobalt last I knew was made by Snap-On but that was 8 or so years ago and lowest bidder wins. Just like Husky Tools are or were made by Mac Tools(a.k.a Stanley Black & Decker ) and Craftsman Tools hand tools are currently made by Danaher and Cooper Tools and were previously made by Stanley Black & Decker
It's all a giant cluster especially the store brands they are made to a required spec by the lowest bidder which doesn't imply lack of quality. TTi and the others operate pretty much like Foxconn does for say Apple, Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony to name a few.
Pure TSP is hard to find because it's considered an environmental hazard and has nothing to do with Home depot or lowes and such. Pure Lye can be a hazmat nightmare so no big box store is realistically going to stock it outside of specialized premixed cleaning chemicals like drain openers. I know for a fact you can buy real brass wire at Lowes least I could last week. If you actually look hard enough you can find everything you want locally but don't expect the big box store to carry odd things since they're usually something most people won't buy or use and its just not worth the shelf space they as specialize in common high volume items.
LTE Advanced is a real 4G (1 Gbit/s) standard but what the carriers are pushing as 4G is actually regular LTE which considered to be 3.9G (100 Mbit/s) at most
It breaks down to basically the list below but anything theoretically capable of doing more then 40Mbit/s is called 4G by marketing 3G - (300 Kbit/s down) EVDO and WCDMA 3.5G - (14 Mbit/s Down / 5.7 Mbit/s Up) HSDPA/HSUPA and EVDO Rev. B 3.75G - (42 Mbit/s Down / 22 Mbit/s Up) HSPA+ 3.9G - (100 Mbit/s Down / 50 Mbit/s Up) LTE and WiMax and HSPA+ rel 8 4G - (1 Gbit/s Down/ 500Mbit/s Up) - LTE Adavnaced and WiMAX 16.m
While sprint lets you roam on Verizon most of the time it's restricted to 1x speed and only lets you do 3g in certain coverage areas plus you're restricted to a limited amount of data usage a month before they flag your account and eventually they will terminate you for to much data roaming which is why some people use it as a way to get out of a contract
"the unprecedented use of the filibuster to block any progress and judicial nominations" The Dems did this to Bush also so its not unprecedented any any manner.
Also SS is a ponzi scheme for anyone younger then 40 since the money they pay into it will never seen since by the time they're old enough to collect on it SS will be in in default
Lucky for you then since only the 3g and 4g models sold by carriers will use the S4 the Wifi model will be Tegra3 though the Tegra3 seems to have a slightly better GPU most tests show the S4 having a far better CPU see anandtech.com for details
Actually according to theverge.com and gizmodo.com the descendants will have a Tegra 3 if you only want WiFi it's the 3g and LTE versions that will use the S4 due to Tegra 3 lacking LTE at this time and based on the Anandtech reviews of the S4 it's dual cores pretty much win all the CPU tests and most of the GPU tests compared to a Tegra3.
It has nothing to do with the quad core aspect of the Tegra3 and everything to do with Nvidia being stupid and not bothering to get it supported/certified by any of the LTE chipset manufacturers.
Also... Based on Anandtechs review of the S4 vs the Tegra3 Prime there's not much benefit to having a quad-core vs dual-core as the Tegrra3 lost almost every test save for some of the GPU tests and the linpack test was just brutal to the Tegra3 compared to the S4
The Tegra3 isn't compatible with any LTE modems and won't be for several months so ASUS opted to use the S4 for all 3g/4g transformers so they could have something for carriers to sell nowish. The Wifi only models will keep using the Tegra3. Either way this isn't really something ASUS can fix itself since Nvidia never bothered getting its product to support any LTE modems.
Buying Foxconn would be the worst thing they could do as every other oem would drop them(There are a lot of them. They build the 360, PS3 and Wii for starters) leaving them with far higher operating costs and all the negative PR would be be directly on Apple anytime some one kills themselves instead of indirectly as it is now. Of course they could raise the pay to what people on here consider a living wage to make first world people happy wiping out any possible remaining gains left after all the OEMs bail on Foxconn. Hmm good plan for how to break Apple I endorse your plan.
Yes because moving and finding reasonable rent next to where one works is so easy these days. I can pay lower rent and more for gas or higher rent and less for gas by living a few blocks closer to where I work but I'd be paying $200-$300 more a month in rent but at least the gas bill is less!
The detonator has to be in the bomb somewhere to get in or on the bomber since it's not likely they can crawl out on the wings of a B52 or in the bomb bay B1/B2 and slip it in

The only think I ever really have issues opening are horrific kill it with fire power-point presentations so its not a feature i really miss
There is no relation between Lowes and Walmart outside of them both carrying some of the same third-party vendors...

Didn't AMD just buy a company that did something similar to this? While not at the chip or core level it seems kinda realted

I'm pretty sure liberal and conservative mean different things in England vs the US
