  1. It won't work on Quake-Catcher Aims to be Largest Distributed Seismometer Network · · Score: 1

I have interest in earthquakes and I have setup my own seismometers to record earthquakes. Now given what I know about earthquakes doubt that this plan is going to work. Not only because of the false signals he is going to get, but because with just only two sensors (even with more sensors like this I still doubt that this is going to work) that aren't sensitive enough to detect the pre-earthquakes when they happen, he isn't going to be able to predict a larger earthquake in one area. But small pre-earthquakes are sometimes from 1.0ML up to 3.0ML in size (there about). He is also going to have an issue with noise, that is cars, movement of the laptops and so on. But that is going to give out many false signals that won't be at any use, but earthquake signals can also drown in a city noise.

The idea might work if he where using normal seismometers, but not laptops or home PCs.

They do this as they don't want a new 1989 for the world to see. Chinese news agents are spewing out propaganda at the moment, nothing that comes from them is accurate or true on what is happening.

Let's not forget the fact that China did invade Tibet in 1950 and claimed Tibet as there own, while Tibet is in fact indepent country that is military occupied. While in fact that is not the case. U.N should have for long time protested the China occupation of Tibet long time ago. It is however sad fact that the business deals prevent that from happening.

I expect information on the action of Chinese military forces to come to light soon. As I expect that the information is going to get out one way or an other. View of the Chinese public are based on what the government chooses to tell them, not necessary the facts of what is going on.

We are going to see more bloodshed to happen in Tibet for some time now. However, it is as question how much of it reaches international media.

The government of Afghanistan should ban sharia courts. Just for the one reason that they are based on Islamic religion laws that where written in the time when they didn't even know that the earth rotates around the sun. The other major issue with sharia courts is the fact that the judge can do whatever he wants, there is no guarantee on fair trial, it actually is less then zero that you get a fair trial in sharia courts. You face the risk of just hearing one side in front of the court, or no side at all. In sharia court you might not even get an defendant at all.

I've been looking into the laws of Islam and the sharia court system, all of them are middle age style of law. Where they rule by violence and with the treat of death. If Afghanistan wants to join the modern world, it should banish sharia courts. So should all other Islam countries in the world.

The reason why they haven't done that at this moment, is in my opinion down to one or two reasons.

They are not ready with there plans, what ever they might be. The only way for the people in the U.S to save them selfs is to get the current president out of office, because he and the vice-president are behind this. I do think they are hiding this from the congress, as if they knew, they would already put a stop to there plans.

Spying on everybody is just the first plan into totalitarianism state, but that stage is already here. What is the next step, I don't know. But I sure hope that I never find out. I am also sure they are going to implement it with big body count, as it confuses people and people also tend to support leaders in a face of a attack.
