    From TFA:

"When Douglas pointed out that information about MiiVi had been added to the MediaDefender Wikipedia page, Saaf decided that he wanted it taken down. "Can you please do what you can to eliminate the entry? Let me know if you have any success," Saaf wrote. "I will attempt to get all references to miivi removed from wiki," developer Ben Ebert replied. "We'll see if I can get rid of it.""

They wanted to remove all links between themselves and Miivi. When there definately was a link. They knew it was true, they just didn't want anyone else to know about it.

That's not the intended use of the tool that is Wikipedia.

That way anyone that goes to look at that forum link off google can see the company pro-actively fixing any issues. Seems like a good form of advertising to me.

Sorry - but that's utter bullshit. A nuclear weapon requires a very specific (and complex) preparation and arming sequence - part of which is done onboard the aircraft by the pilot. It's absolutely impossible to not know the difference. (And if the bomb is dropped without those sequences being performed correctly - it's inert. It won't detonate.)

I would have thought that it would have been absolutely impossible for nuclear warheads to somehow get out of storage and loaded onto the wings of a B-52 and flown across the USA without anyone noticing until they landed.

Comparing Air/road vs. train and rocket/shuttle vs. space elevator isn't really equivalent...

Maybe if after every flight or car trip you threw the car or plane (or bus or whatever) away and couldnt use it again (or at least a large proportion of the vehicle was thrown away).

And if the cost of fuel for air/road travel was orders of magnitude more expensive than the fuel/propulsion for train travel. Yes the R+D still needs to be spent on the space elevator, but that doesnt mean the same amount wasnt already spent on Car/plane R+D.

And where exactly are you going to get rocket fuel from in 200 years time? let alone anytime closer to infinity? (If you are suggesting something else will be used other than rocket fuel in the future that is probably going to cost a lot in R+D as well).

"Consider, to illustrate, that Professor Behe remarkably and unmistakably claims that the plausibility of the argument for ID depends upon the extent to which one believes in the existence of God."

companies like Verizon have seen their old pricing model prove inadequate over time, and they want to distance themselves from the previous model.

They only want to distance themselves from the cost of actually delivering the old pricing model. They are perfectly happy to still reap the profits from it though.

If someone is shopping around for an ISP and there are two available with similar pricing, and one advertises a 5GB limit and one is "Unlimited" they will obviously go for the unlimited - even if they will rarely or ir ever reach that cap, or even know what a GB is. Therefore Verizon are reaping the benefits of the old model, they just dont want to actually have to pay to provide the bandwidth to the people that would actually use that much.
