    Apple spent much effort in making the Mac Pro power efficient, drawing at most 450W. And, I would guess far less on average. If you're paying about 11 cents, per kWh and using it 8 hours a day, at most it's going to cost you about $144. With all the fans and other things in a typical PC, I have to imagine that it would be possible to double or triple the annual power consumption costs of the Mac Pro.

    When using the simplest of models, I get nothing but junk coming out of Analysis Server. I am sure there is something that it will find. I just have not found it yet. This is with sales, time and products as the dimensions.

    I cannot think of a java application that I have used that has not been ugly. The UI people often do not make the best programmers and the programmers often suck at designing good UI. And, WHY THE FUCK CANT YOU COMPILE JAVA INTO AN EXE?

    If you were to ask most people, I would wonder how many of them even realize the crazy computer company with the cow boxes was still in business. Maybe GW2K or whatever they want to call themselves should start putting other brands from the past on to crappy computers. Something like what GM has done. Instead of Buicks we could have Commodore, Compuadd, E-Machines, Intellivision, Sinclair, or any other defunct company. While on the subject of defunct companies, how many of these have Gateway purchased?

    I personally find patterns one-step away from being useless. They are almost by design so generic as to be applicable to everything that they are appropriate for nothing.

    The google pack seems to be distributing old software. The Antivirus software is out of date, as is adaware, and google earth. This is something that should be fixed soon. Maybe this is why the google pack is still in beta.
