    I worked for a large East Coast US Bank in the UK for way too long. After a revision to the corporate dictats on dress code a somewhat legendary group of rebels decided the only way to dress was in tuxedos. I believe they were disciplined for their contempt of the holy word.

    1914-1918 was hardly some kind of success. The 1870 Franco-Prussian war is often overlooked but demonstrated the strategic effectiveness of the railway and telegraph.

    The bible has been "translated" and revised throughout history. Not sure about holy works from other religions but I would imagine it is similar.
