  1. Vint on Google Hires Vint Cerf · · Score: 2, Interesting
"Vint Cerf is also working on the Interplanetary Protocol, which will be a new standard to communicate from planet to planet, which will be radio/laser communications that are highly tolerant to signal degradation."

    This guy is amazing.

  2. Not enough funding? on Katrina Delays Shuttle · · Score: 3, Insightful

What's the deal? NASA is solely a governemt organization. There's no question of layoffs, economic setbacks, anything. Uncle Sam's checkbook has no limits. The only thing keep shuttles on the ground is... the weather? Please. At least give us something misleading that will defer our curiosity.

  4. but... on A Mac Mini-lennium Falcon · · Score: 4, Funny

Girlfriend and a life sold seperately. Misleading advertising is always a drag.

  5. interesting on Walk on the Moon in IMAX 3D · · Score: 1

Maybe they'll add the stars into the remake. It's also interesting how they'll make 1960s film into a 3D imax movie. Perhaps this more in-depth look at the moon landing will reveal what all conspirists already know to be true... the moon is undoubtedly made of cheese.

  6. Quick! on Creative Has MP3 Player Interface Patent · · Score: 1

...somebody put a patent on the mouse! I could be rich!

  7. oopsies on Creative Zens Ship with Worms · · Score: 3, Interesting

It'll be interesting to see how both the consumer and the company react to this situation and to see how public this could get. If damage is actually done here from the defect, who would be liable? Oh the joys of transitioning into the digital age...

  8. Dear Guards, on Nigerian Scammers Brought to Justice · · Score: 4, Funny

When they're serving time in their jail cell, be sure to slip them messages like: "Get it up in seconds- for your cellmate Butch!!" "Free keys to YOUR cell!! Limited time offer!!" "Refinance your confiscated home today!!"

  9. alright... on Women Control the DVR · · Score: 1, Insightful

so is it me... or do these statistics seem normal? i mean, the results are 50% men and %50 women, when taking the margin of error into consideration.

  10. so... on Public Transit Reality Game · · Score: 0

do the subway bombings come in the original or are they sold seperately in the expansion pack?

  11. Nice picture... on Big Screen Viewing Effect For Mobile Phone Videos · · Score: 0

but ironically, those glasses will never be touched by anybody that good-looking.

  12. yum on NASA to Research Antimatter Rocket · · Score: 0, Redundant

    Antimatter. It's what's for dinner.

  13. Statistics on Legal Music Downloads At 35%, Soon To Pass Piracy · · Score: 1

35% are legal, 40% are illegal, so the remaining % (25) I assume would fall under both categories. You have to question though, how accurate are these percentages? Just because the EMR can't see users swapping media in not-so-obvious places... that doesn't mean it still isn't going on.
