    Actually it is, having an upper bound at infrared (or microwaves if you see them as different from radio) but no lower bound. Not much help practically though as ELF doesn't work too well for wifi!

    This is one of my pet hates about android (and I'm generally a fan). A lot of apps ask for that permission but just for registration. Up until the latest version (and still on one of my phones) you had to accept this permission to register but then had no way to revoke it afterwards, so you had to hope for the lifetime of the app that it wasn't compromised and wouldn't start messaging premium-rate SMS services or forwarding your message.

    Doh. Looks like the new yards are about 500' square by (say) 30' operating height, at 3.2GW that gives you about 4W/cubic inch. But the satellite images are kind of old and poor quality so it is hard to tell for sure where the separation between the AC substation and DC equipment really is.

    I thought it might be low, because of the heat dissipation. Even at 90%+ efficiency there must be a lot of heat produced
