Besides, if you are really concerned with the air quality, you can always scrub the air as it comes into the greenhouse. If people had the attitude that they doubt this sort of thing could work, where would innovation and progress be. Learn your facts before spreading gloom,Eeyore.

That is not quite true. XP came out in 2001, Goodyear Corp Headquarters did not start changing over to XP until 2003-2004. The engineering firm I now work for which has offices worldwide, did not start switching over to XP until 2005. I guarantee BestBuy, Circuit City, and Comp USA had sold more XP systems from 2001 to 2003 many times over than all the Fortune 100 companies put together. When I worked part-time at BestBuy, we sold on average 7 PC's a day and we were just one store of about 500 retail stores in BestBuy. You add all the Circuit City and Comp USA stores as well and you have a lot of PCs going out every week.

I am going to have to agree here. Although, I like Microsoft more because they keep me employed. The real test will be next year about this time. Gamers don't drive adoption of OS's. Normal people buying PC's out of the box from retailers do. When you are not able to buy XP on an out of the box system is when you will start to see wider acceptance as the threshold of users increase. It is still way to early to tell anything.

You have a good point here and the answer is they should. They probably won't get as much attention as an HIV cure. or so the saying goes. This sounds very promising, but it will be at least 7 years until the treatment would be seen by the masses unless they let it take the fast track through the FDA. Even then it would still 4-5 years. It seems like they still have at least 1-2 years of research to verify it is specifically this amino acid chain and not a combination of something else. The other issue you run into is what long term effect this will have on the human body. While they 'think' it does not have any nasty side effects they won't really know until they start doing human testing in clinical studies. As I said, it looks promising but is probably still 7 years off.

I think if you can get an intelligent judge or at least be able to explain what their findings mean; you should be able to get alot of cases thrown out. If not then appeal until you get the right judge. It seems that they have to go on hunting expeditions to try to even build a case otherwise they are close to slander by false accusations. (I'm some what of a coffee snob and usually grind the beans myself to ensure the freshness.)

As usual it only takes a couple of morons to ruin it for everybody else. This is common in the world today. You have a small group of people claiming to be Muslim and committing acts of terrorism. People start thinking anyone of Arab descent is evil or a sympathizer. There is a gas station owned by a couple of guys from Iran. They are great guys, we play poker every once in awhile. People started boycotting their gas station just because they were from Iran around 9/11. I told a couple people off because I bought my gas from there and they in not so many words, eluded that I wasn't American. I called them bigots and asked them when their ancestors came over to this land.

This problem is not unique to America. France started deporting people of Arab descent because of the riots that happened earlier this year. They are deporting all of them, even those that had nothing to do with the riots, which was a majority of the people. You have genocide happening in the Sudan. Nepal has finally ended it's Civil War. China has suppressed many people groups including Tibetans and Mongolians. It all happens because we focus on our slight differences instead of embracing our humanity and celebrating our uniqueness.
