    Uyghurs are a Turkic people who speak a Turkic language. They are ethnically, culturally, and linguistically quite distinct from Han Chinese.

    Oh, really? That's funny, I (and most of my peers) have been calling them "apps" for about 20 years now, since well before smartphones were even a thing.

  11. It is entirely possible to buy a phone and a pay-as-you-go SIM using cash in Sweden. I did so when I first came here, when I as yet had no personal number.

    Route can be pronounced as /ræwt/ or /ru:t/. Both are equally correct, as a few seconds with any dictionary will tell you.
