    Timing relies on CPU cycle counter which is quite accurate in most cases.

    One problem (in MS world, not oss), is the availability of source code.

    If you can do code coverage you can make much better tests.

    Actually, it was mostly over in first 5 minutes of ST 7, which was great until and including the moment Kirk died saving the ship. If the movie ended immediately after that it would be one of the great ST movies.

    PDFs always sucked for non-printing uses. With this they will just suck more.

    This is bullshit. I am never even considering buying a >>100W CPU for my desktop, certainly not 1000W.

    I'd rather see a less fans in my machine, not more.

    Looking into heat/area is more reasonable as area will decrease for a while still.

    Funny, I did once remap the Fire button in quake to the right mouse button because the left one became less than 100% reliable.

    For me, games that require a joystick suck.

    I liked the way Wing Commander used the mouse and there is nothing better. (Freelancer while nothing special and too arcadish at least did this well).

    It's the like playing a FPS with the game console controller instead of the keyboard and mouse.

    The way some games -- like freespace use the mouse to simulate the joystick is tolerable but inferior. It works for slow action, but in a real dogfight you end up repositioning the mouse too much.

    Same here. Unless I can plug the mouse and keyboard into a console and play Q3A I'm not going to consider them seriously.

    Too bad the review says it sucks compared to a PC.

    I was actualy considering buying a console until I found out that games don't support plugging the mouse and keyboard.

    Considering that, it's useless for real FPSs

    Seriously....

    Windows Exploer turned to shit ever since they integrated IE into it (since active desktop).

    The same goes for taskbar which now locks up often for no good reason (I have 1G ram, no swap).

    The IDN just extends it into domain names.
