    So yeah, if you want Win7, go to a chineese side street small retailer and get an OEM dvd thats legit
    and probably only $49.

    Downloading is faster. (Remember, I'm not in the US.)

    I had the RC the day after release :) I'm very happy with the product, but not £189.99 happy. Especially not if the very same product is £60 - £70 cheaper in the US.

    How does that even work? If the USD is low, shouldn't that make american products cheaper?

    well, Ctrl + Alt + Del is still a lot useful on modern windows systems.

    Except it doesn't give you the task manager. It gives you a fullscreen menu.

    And while we're redesigning the keyboard, I want the backspace further from Enter. There are few things worse than sending a chat message you decided you don't want to send after all.

    You've never seen a facehugger jump you unexpectedly from a dark corner in multiplayer in AvP2, now have you? When you're playing against other people in a setting this fast-paced, you tend to ignore graphics and game phyisics.

    Shame the Predator was so unbalanced, especially against Marines.

    Ubuntu fits on a single CD. I haven't added more than one or two extra Gigs

    Nice definition of "fits". I can understand that there's no room for development files on a newbie CD, but by that reasoning, where's mplayer then? And why do they ship a music player that can't play mp3?

    Virus or not, Windows must be getting pretty good if this "data cap" shit is all they can come up with. The last Linux distro I downloaded weighed in at 4,3 Gb and it was nowhere near complete.

    Yes, I know, there's Geexbox with its 20 Mb, but that's not a full OS.

    If you are starting from the UK, Ireland has to be the easiest country to move to.

    Considering every second person I've met in the UK speaks a totally different dialect of British English, Bad English or Bad English-(insert language reflecting their ethnic background) mixture, learning a new language shouldn't be too hard.

    (Seriously, it was hard at first, then I realized they're so used to it they rephrase every sentence at least three times, and don't even realize it.)

    The advertiser will pay more for the Hulu version, but since there's only one of them it brings less income to the studio.

    Except Hulu has unlimited screen time. On Fox, every episode is competing with every other show the station has.

    If the advertisers are paying per view, this could be a serious advantage.
