    So long as it's okay for the company to hire whomever they want.

    In a more civilised part of the world - they can.

    But they can't refuse to hire somebody just because they belong to a union, and the union doesn't get any say in whether a nonunion person gets employed.

    (#58017826) Actually, every big game studio has fought tooth and nail to ensure it never happens and that anyone involved in any such effort never works in the industry again.

    And in the same more civilised part of the world - they can't. See above.

    After losing the ability to save anything other than xcf and seeing their reaction to complaints about it I'm not sure a cup of coffee will do the trick. Be better advised to put effort into Krita.

    Actually, jerk is the very last thing you should be when marking exams. "Professional" is the only acceptable behaviour.

    Which means that if the submitted work is of F quality then the only acceptable mark is F. Jerkiness doesn't ever come into it.

    I think he will just learn to be cutting and harsh in a polite way. It is not that hard to utterly destroy somebody while staying perfectly polite and seemingly not even getting personal at all.

    I tried that the last* time I got a similar call - with exactly the same result.

    *Dumped the landline just after, haven't had any since.

    Provided Bob is licenced (ie they've proved they really understand how to fix stuff properly) - there really isn't a problem.
