At the local computer store they had 2 gb sd cards on sale for 15$ That probably means that apple could get them at 5$/gb.

  10. Meter on Running Your Electric Meter Backwards · · Score: 1

Make sure you get the power company to install a new meter for you. We ran our solar setup on our old meter for a month, while waiting for the new meter to be installed. The internal electronics of the meter counted all the electricity we generated as electricity we used, nearly doubling that mounth's bill. Now that everything has been properly configured we generate about 70-80% of our daily electricity use and the bill is down to a couple hundred a year.

  16. How will this compete? on Microsoft Launches the Zune · · Score: 1

It's 50 more dollars than the equivilent iPod, plus it doesn't have the "cool" factor. The only thing that the Zune really has going for it is the built in wireless, which I feel really isn't that great of an addition for a music player.

I also have a fairly good sense of direction most of the time. However, once I've flown on an airplane, I lose it for a couple of days. After I've found which way is north though, I'm normally able to transition fairly quickly. It's rather irritating when you're "sure" that the compasses are all pointing the wrong direction and that the sun has decided to travel from north to south.
