    I would be interested in seeing statistics from the 80's on, to show how much power an "average" home PC or business workstation consumes. Over the years I've heard things like "it takes more energy to power it on than to just let it run", "it uses as much energy as a blowdryer", and "it uses as much energy as a lightbulb". Also, doesn't it take LOTS more energy to continually refresh RAM than it does to enable a processor? Think we could break usage down by component in these stats?

    I don't see a link to any videos or images - are there any? After all, you can false color radio frequencies into a visual range image. Will any videos be released, or would the content be too slow and boring to broadcast?

    You say we have more crimes but, in reality, the more laws (valid or not) you have, the more criminals you have. What if they start arresting folk for Intellectual Property violations, when the patents haven't been settled? What if people who download bittorrents become the 2nd largest populace in US prisions?

    True, but the "spirit/intent" of this is that my kids wouldn't be exposed to violent games (which involve the killing of humanoids). So, if I follow the intent, then my kids can't play. In reality, I don't give a darn about other people's opinions on how I raise my kids - at least I'm not forcing them to believe in old, white-haired, ultra-powerful-yet-invisible deities who watch while you poop.
