The main benefit of a workable electronic voting system is that we will be able to vote more regularly on a range of issues, taking some of the power away from the politicians. I think that this may be one of the primary reasons why Diebold, who can produce near perfect ATMS, cant/wont build an accurate voting system.

Just to put it into context, The Fed can only issue money based on the level of Government bonds it holds. Government bonds are backed by tax earnings. So essentially the US Taxpayers were forced to become indebted to the Fed for all of the secret Trillions given to the banks.

This is not entirely true. the Fed is only supposed to print money to the same value of Government Bonds that are issued simultaneously. This is why the American population is indebted to the Fed. It also means that government issued Trillions in bonds that were kept secret.

Honestly, do you want to give the green light to scientists to do experiments with our one and only fragile global climatic system?
This whole latest propaganda drive around about the time that the climate convention is being held in Durban has only one purpose - to speed up the implementation of the global carbon tax/credit scam.

Climate change has never been reversible, and never will be. Period. All of the crud around the issue is simply because we don't want it to happen - and it is going to happen regardless of any futile (and probably horrendously expensive) measures we may take. The sooner we face the fact, the sooner we will be able to course correct and plan accordingly.

Interesting. From http://www.xylitol.org/questions-about-xylitol : "Sugar feeds bacteria in your mouth, causing them to multiply rapidly. This metabolic process produces acids that cause cavities to begin to form. When you use xylitol gum or mints, the acid attack that would otherwise last for over half an hour is stopped. Because the bacteria in the mouth causing caries are unable to ferment xylitol in their metabolism, their growth is reduced. The number of acid-producing bacteria may fall as much as 90%. Since no acid is formed, the pH of saliva does not fall." (facts also in the Wikipedia article)

I was actually reading about this this morning. Sugars have 6 carbon atoms, while Xylitol has 5. Bacteria and yeasts only consume sugars that have 6 carbon atoms, so effectively Xylitol would not have the same effect.

The database contained a list of subversives, extremists, fundamentalists, and militants. The actual conspiracy is that Al-Qaeda is this large international terrorist organisation, where in reality there is probably, at most, only a loose affiliation among small sub-groups within the database which actually poses very little real threat to any sovereign state.

Write off piracy to marketing coasts. Piracy is actually a very cost effective form of Viral marketing. It's free, and it can build you brand awareness rapidly. In fact, take comfort in the fact that people actually like your app enough to go to the trouble to pirate it. If your app is that good, you most certainly will be able to turn a profit from it, plus you will be able to leverage the sympathy of your existing market (including the pirates) for your next version.
