    I have seen the Internet from the 70's. TPB are visionaries. They have families, and to hold on as long as they did is downright martyrdom. My wife would have left me years ago for such a cause...

    I went to the Space Camp place. They have only one area for Von Braun. While others wandered in Gemini, Apollo, I was captivated by this single video of Von Braun. How could this man raise that much money on two continents and with opposing sides of a war. My friends from Huntsville agree. This man was above war, knowing perhaps that only war could fund space exploration. I am only imagine him saying, "war will come and go, come and go", we must build a new rocket!

    You can be my neighbor in Memphis TN. Heres a 6-acre empty lot for US$100k. Work locally in IT at FedEx or International Paper or Service Master. Or like me, hop on Northwest-Airlines and contract all over the USA! We blow up stuff on weekends, ride 4wheelers, build Wallthings, normal stuff.

    What would be cool is to do it with Wifi. Somehow create a spread spectrum wifi over all the channels 1-11 to get from the client to the server. Something custom that searches channels realtime. Very fault tolerant I suspect. https of course. Cheap, portable, less wires. This kind of thing wasn't possible with MegabitEthernet, but with 3G and such, now is the time to switch.... Why doesn't some senior out there build that and post the results....

    I would say OMPL (one mainframe per lab) would save a company money. WIth GigaEthernet, thats the way to go. Make it redundant with High Availability

    Since all energy eventually beceomes heat, my only concern is adding new-heat. Perhaps heat is ok, but carbon is not. (my ignorance here).
    I wish we could do carbon->microwave->uplink->gone...

    I want privacy, but more so, I don't want voter-fraud.
    I think the guy running Iran's election said, crap, let em vote, I can rig it in the middle!
    Thats what I want to prevent. Many IT firms could run a fair, private, accountable, repeatable online voting system for the USA. Lets innovate here! Why doesn't California do something like that? Not that hard. 300Million voters, with 1bit/vote. Would fit on a hard-drive. Doesn't anyone agree? Please don't reply to the negative, I want someone with a helpful elaboration here....

    I have said it before and I say it now.
    I am not voting in another US pres election until its done online. Any bank or CPA firm or pricewaterhouse could make it legit. Todays system is fraught with errors, not from the senior-citizens who administer it, but from the layers above who act in secrecy. I want a website where my ssn and vote are public record!

    Yea, I started development on a game for iPhone.
    It would play in the car.
    It has hypermiling and stunt mode. aka it might promote reckless driving (in a sense).
    I know people will buy it, but I doubt iTunes would sell it.
    Is there any place to promote underground iPhone apps that people see?

    I support a national-ID whatever its called.

    Its the only way to secure our borders.

    In Tennessee where I live, terrorists get the DMV ladies to get them licences and then blow up cars!

    Its really the same as a drivers license which is a pain I know, but reasonable.
