  3. Take you time on Tattoos For the Math and Science Geek? · · Score: 0

I knew I wanted a tattoo before I was out of High School. I joined the military (19) and still wanted one. I asked myself over and over again; "what do I want?" I wanted something that was me, but not the military me. At the time I was a skater and a bit odd and different. I expressed myself and didn't want color in my tattoo for sure, and just plain old black tattoos were for me. I finally made up my mind at the age of 23. After a year of pondering where to get it and if this is what I wanted I got inked. Very happy with what I got and have not regrets. I did my tattoo in an Italian shop at the 'Gray Mall' in Aviano. Great memories and a great tattoo. My advice is take the advice of the posters and ideas, put it together and sit on it for a few months. You might find that one equation and idea don't go together after a bit of time looking at it on and off. Once the pattern is hammered out, next is to figure out where to put it. Keep in mind that where ever you put it and it is seen you may not get hired anywhere; because of the tattoo. Place it where your business/business casual work attire will hide it from your co-workers and peers. You want to be known for the work you do and not by something else. Good luck and take you time.

In time. First the Marx stages: Socialism (currently in progress) to Communism and finally to Utopia. That is the order of improvement from Capitalism the US will have to go through to reach a point where the people no longer need government. Take into account human nature and that would be near impossible, so government will stay on with a sign saying; "Don't turn off".

I had to look up 'shannon's law' and found the wikipedia entries as follows: * Shannon-Hartley theorem, any statement defining the theoretical maximum rate at which error-free digits can be transmitted over a bandwidth-limited channel in the presence of noise. Shannon's law has applications in telecommunication * Shannon's law (Arizona), a law that was established after the 1999 death of teenager Shannon Smith, to punish those who fire gunshots into the air, risking the lives of others Is it okay to assume you mean Shannon-Hartley theorem and not actually Shannon's law?

I feel bad, but at the same time I don't. These companies should be happy that people are using their software. I am referring to the large applications that cost hundreds to thousands of dollars. The reason; they are using and familiarizing themselves with this expensive software and if given the choice by their company they will choose the one most familiar. Also sometimes the only way to get a copy of the software is to pirate it. Finally, there is software only technically available to a company and to get ahead in this world a rule or two shall be broken.

I would pay $10 / month for hulu. I have been using the service for a solid year and have no TV or cable just a computer with a cable connection. I have found many locations on the net to watch always on TV and use hulu to keep up with current shows without hassle. I might not get that nights airing, but I do get to watch it later on. The ads are not annoying, but some of the commercials timing is pretty horrid. In conclusion, I would, at most, spend $10 a month towards a subscription, but nothing more. Anything greater than $10 and I will just download the show via somewhere else. My internet connection is running me 59.99 per month and I will be damned to get cable TV for $50 a month and to cost of a TV. V

It is bad enough ISPs are charging an arm and a leg for connections at a alright speed and not living up to it for a simple clause saying 'up to'. I give the FCC the reins to lock the ISPs in a do it or fail scenario in providing the US with above average global speeds. I don't expect Japan speeds, it would be nice, but capitalist greed will keep that one down and the US is a large territory to cover. Not that size is an excuse, but does a cow pasture really need fiber? I don't think so, but it should have a cell signal and data speeds equal to what is offered now with standard cable. LOCK THE ISPs DOWN MR. FCC AND GIVE ME THE SPEED OF LIGHT!
