    Oh, I guess the fact that it has easy-to-use configuration utilities makes it "fake". Get a real clue.

    I don't ever print much, so when I read these threads, I decided to try setup my mama's shared printer upstairs. She's got an HP PSC 500 (multifunction printer, doubted it was even supported).

    Loaded up printerdrake in my Mandrake 8.1 installation.

    2 minutes later, I run upstairs to find see the printer goin to work on a perfect test page!

    Mandrake rules, kids. No need to spend 20 dollars on anything else.

    It turned out that visa's auth systems were broken for a bit :-) Paypal hasn't been a problem since!

    The great guys running GAIM have been very great developers - they know that they are not always perfect, and are always willing to accept help in forms of patches and plugins.

    Not only that, but they could probably use a few more developers seeing that they've been attacked by AOL lawyers recently, as read on slsahdot.

    This is a question about wind generation in general:

    When wind is used to move a windmill/fan/turbine, does the wind keep going through that, or is it "absorbed", and there's less wind after the turbine?

    I would think that it would be absorbed by the moving fan, changing the state of the energy, but I don't know.

    Ever hear of terrorism?

    Bunch of assholes hijack 2 planes and decide to go kill 1000 people. This is awful, watching the 2nd plane fly into the World Trade Center live on TV makes me cringe.
