Yes the site is complete depending on how you look at "complete." Can they ship the waste in complete? Is it up to the standards it's supposed to be at right now for long term storage? NO! As stated in the GP Bechtel the company with the no-bid contract for Yucca has not gotten the site up to spec.
Honestly it is far more realistic to keep the waste near the power plants and places the waste is produced at. The thing you don't seem to quite gasp is that the waste will not just magicaly transport itself from location A to location Yucca. It will be driven. There were promises made & such to keep those shipments far away from towns and cities. So far however thier promises have meant very little. Just from the test shippments that have been done to Yucca quite a few have gone straight through Las Vegas. Thier excuse? "Oh sorry...we lost track of the hazardious waste, but it got there fine didn't it? You would imagine they would be paying just a little more attention than that with the hazerdious materials, but I guess not (no telling what other cities they've "lost" the stuff in).
I really don't care too much as to if the waste gets stuck in Yucca or not (I won't even be in this country hopefully in two years). It just needs to be done properly and so far all signs point to scientists deleting studies that didn't give desired results, a facility that isn't ready, tracking of materials in transit is not very good (this isn't a vibrator for your wife that UPS lost), and the whole problem of what will eventualy happens to one of these shippments: an accident on the road, some nutjob that thinks god wants him to ram a plane into one, natural disaster, etc. And something will happen eventually and even though the containers are supposed to be able to take a small plane crashing into it, at least one will have a problem with keeping it's contents eventually.
Actually Bush & the cronies are still attempting to get Yucca Mountain going, but it's rare anything is put in print outside of Nevada. Mainly because the major roadblocks are that the Nevada locals keep bringing up valid points that no one in an elected position wants to see nationaly printed. Things like oh 49 states ganging up on one state since the other 49 sure as hell don't want nuke waste in thier state long term. On and plus Bechtel (the people who got the no bid contract for Yucca) is still is way over thier deadline with completion for Yucca Mountain and are by no means anywhere up to code that they aggreed to when they started the whole thing and is overbudget. Yucca Mountain has been a huge clusterfuck from begining to end and hasn't been very thought out. I know most of this due to the fact that I live in Nevada.
Just because YOU don't excersize your rights doesn't mean others should have it taken away who use it because it'll help you sleep at night. It would honestly take less work to work things out with these people than put all these security measures in place. All this shit stems over us sticking our gaw damn noses where they didn't belong in the middle east and getting involved in holy wars between tribes.
Theres that many good shows on TV to even require a 2nd tuner? This is most certainly news to me. I've yet to have a scheduleing conflict with my TiVo in all the time I've had it that couldn't be resolved by just catching the show that reruns sometime later that day or week and I've had that happen 2 maybe 3 times. You have to realise that broadcasters know that they are primarily going for people who also have just one set of eyes, one tuner, and NO PVR. Just so happens it works out well if you just watch for conflicts.
I personaly challenge you to buy a diamond from that very Jewlery store then a couple months later and attempt to even get a quarter of what you paid for the rock. Then you will have a MUCH better idea for exactly how much that blood soaked rock is worth.
If your fastest machine takes longer than 30-60 seconds to boot you need to either get some better hardware or hand in your geek card. Most machines I build anymore takes less than 60 seconds to boot anymore. Only thing that ever slows down the boot time is extra controler cards that have to get information like drive sizes on boot.
And honestly...how many of those shows are REALLY worth watching? Most anything on TV anymore isn't even worth watching without the comercials anymore. Lost? Well my TiVo nabs that for me so no need for me to download it:)
1. location: you may not live anywhere near your favorite team, or be interested in road games too If your not devoted enough to follow your team around the country your no football fan and just a poser.
2. economics: if you think HDTVs are expensive, take a look at ticket, vendor, and parking prices Hence why I don't bother with football unless the other option is a root canal. It's a mediocre sport that costs more than it ever should. Not to mention it gets incredibly boring since every 5 seconds of action takes 5-10 minutes to plan plus numerious annoying breaks.
3. sellouts: sometimes tickets just aren't available The team will understand if your not a big enough fan to get a ticket.
4. it's firking cold out there The athleats can breave it why can't you? Are you some fragile woman? Do you need a pair of girly foot warmers? Real men goto football games in a blizard with shorts on with thier beer gut hangin out all painted up screaming at the top of thier lungs they love some group of guys stareing at each other's asses half the time.
I couldn't watch football anyways before HD came along and seems an ever bigger waste with HD. If your so head over heels about football go actually watch it in person. At least that way football seems half assedly decent (but still not worth the huge time sink it is).
Yeah and the way battlebots are built they'd never actually be able to harm anyone unless they were on a hardened flat surface that had sawblades coming out of the floor randomly. Oh and lets not forget over 50% of them wont work past and at least one will be a bright pink dome of doom.
It's higher than any other console out there. Not to mention the ammount of games available will be in the order of closer to 1000 than 200. Plus lets not forget you have no clue what would happen to developers if there were 200 NEW games the day of launch. The average gamers maybe buy 20 games over the course of a consoles life. They would need to do half of that within the first month to make developers any ammount of money that wouldn't be anything more than a lucky crapshoot.
It really doesn't matter any which way though. Sony & MS will leave game consoles to companies that know how to make a game console that can support itself without putting the company in the hole. It's quite likely both of them will jump ship after this next generation and leave games to those who focus on one thing and not on everything and being unable to do any of them well.
Your friend is a moron. Backup just the movie and not the mass of extras crap NO ONE CARES ABOUT but an impotent monkie. DVD Shrink makes life way better too =)

When he doesn't declare it as a tax break/write off I'll hand it to him.

Awww screw it...just release it anyways! Least then only the ones most likely to not get HIV shall survive!

When did Mythbusters ever matter btw? ;)
Or $10 more will get you a data cable where you can then usualy flash the crippled firmware to the uncrippled version (as long as it exists).
Wow..."get AIDS and die." Now if that isn't a flaming faggot I don't quite know what is.
Sadly thats quite possible...
Hah...Project Managers...Something so in tune with other things like Military Intelligence...
But at least they got priorities I guess...

And to think I don't fancy football much...

Andromeda is done...the show is over. The last season just finished. It was a good series though.

Playing Playstation with your friend thats shackled in the backyard shed? Brilliant!!! ^^

Yes...New Orleans got exactly what they deserved for voting BUSH!!!
System should have over 200 at launch. Gamecube games + all the previous home consoles.
Which is one more reason I stick with Firewire. USB is nice, but Firewire just works better when you have some odd configuration.
