I have written a few great scripts that can and will track what an employee is doing. Or a great one that tracks what Window is open on their screen and for how long, so that way you can tell if they are working and if so how long they are spending on work vs. personal web surfing.
--also you can buy signal jammers on the cheap to block cell phone usage in your office, good tool to keep them on their PC and their hands off their cell phones. I just caught our CEO playing a game on his cell though.. so cant stop that, but at least they cant get out to the net.
Scripts can also be set up to Kill (close) webpages that open on an end users PC.. so say you want to stop a person from going to a site that Websence thinks is okay, like www.bing.com you can make it so when they go to that site it just automaticly closes the browser.
-my scripts are open source.. free for all... but updates to them cost $10 per update.
Our family lives in a flood area. almost every year it happens. But in larger floods you have to be ready. We tied canoes to our house so when the flood hit we could paddle to relatives that lived on high ground. On the property we lived we all pitched in together and built a home that would float (but not float away) when the flood waters hit. It would raise up and the pipes below had break away piping that would allow the home to float up. the power lines were all done above ground so it had power, just not working water. but all in all a floating house made it very nice for the people living in it since all their things did not get ruined and everything was intact.
please remind me to never fly with them. In my years of boycotting Apple this should be the easiest one to do. I would never trust or rely on a device that is hackable by a 12yr old for functions people might need to survive. what's next are they going to hook the controllers up to a Wii Mote? (a 6axis Sony controller would work better though )
are you kidding? ATT and Apple are the root of all Evil in the world. I am sure if ATT did get T-mobile you'd be paying more in the long run. less competition of lower prices meas they can charge more with out worry of lossing cutomers.
It doesn't cost ATT or any cell company more for them to pass text messages between phones.. actually it is cheaper for them if you text than making a call. So why do they charge for a service that should be free in the first place? I don't know, but i do know i have had Text BLOCKED on my cell and Internet disabled on my cell. A lot of my tech friends all say, "your an IT professional and you dont have a smart phone" I tell them. I can do it all on my Super Lap Top and i don't mind pulling it out to check the internet or send an email.
If you care at all about your bills and having to pay well over $100 for a family plan, then boycott Apple, boycott data usage.. dont use it and they will drop the price.. any one ever hear of Supply and Demand. i mean really now. Unplug for a month, cancel your text and data for a month, lets all see what happens when ATT cant give the upper ups their thousands of dollars bonuses.
umm.. did you play Diablo 2 online at all? or still (like I do)? I had tons of hacks back in the day that all ran against their Battle Net servers and was able to hack not only my Char online (stats and items), but if you got in the same room as me i was able to delete all your items or mod them in a way that would crash your Char totally.
Yes i (Wingfat) was one of those guys back in the day that would kill you in town (Diablo 1) and then go brag in the chat room about smashing your head in in-Town, then you would complain and find my Defender Char (KillerJoe) to go "kill" wingfat and get his ear for you for a price. those were the days.. lol
I hate the fact it will be online only. I play games a lot on my Lunch break at work and 90% of the time dont have Wifi. This alone makes me not want to buy the game, i'll get it off a torrent site and hack it to pieces before i PAY for a game that i wouldnt be able to use in the way i want. Example - iPhones... locked down so you can't do things the "Man" doesn't want you to, but with a back door tips and tricks a some hacking time, you can unlock one and do what you will.. -well besides Flash in the case of Apple. lol
I have the Targus XL.. It actually fits my Toshiba Qosimo 18.5'' prefectly! i did a ton of research on all of them out there that hold 17+ Lap Tops. The thing i love about this is being able to hold my giant "Laptop" as well as the 5lb power supply, all the cords needed. My Sony PSP in a large metal case, My Nikon CoolPix 50x zoom camera with case, my 6 Cup "The Rock" Thermos (rather large one if you know Thermos's). As well as a pack of CDRs, DVD-Rs, pens. business cards, soda/water holder on the outside (which works great for holding my work badge when not at work) a zipper pouch on the side with Ear Bugs hole for putting your MP3 player in the side of it. All this and it sits well and feels nice on the back even with out using the extra waist strap.
This is a very highly recommened bag for a Gamer, or someone that has a larger Lap Top that also needs extra spots for much needed day to day items.
Also Amazon is the way to go! free shipping no sales tax and i am a happy IT Guy/ Gamer

I have never noticed a Google targeted ad till this year. I bought tickets for a concert, then went to a web site a few days like that is used to Color Blind people and noticed that the ad on the top of the page Finally changed from an ad about Contacts to an ad for an upcoming concert the band i bought tickets for was playing. That actually excited me and I thought it was cool... then thought deeper about it and thought hey... would I want a targeted ad to show up on my computer for something i was searching on that i didn't want a family member to see? lol
not sonic.. but I agree about excite and google. not much spam in the google, but I think that is because i don't use Google to email in general. I also dont use google to Search.. i'll stick with Microsoft. at least I know they are doing something.. and i trust Bill Gates more than anyone nowadays.
So now, if use the local library's wifi (or Star Bucks, but dont step a foot inside of either place) to surf the net, that is free. I then link up to me FREE sonic email using what ever i feel like that day.. Run a subnet mask and then Spoof a MAC address, use a TOR browser out of Canada and surf that way, i get no targeted ads at me and got it for free.
agreed. If i cant be Wingfat on Google+ then i will - them (subtract them). I have been Wingfat since BBS days.. that is who I am on the net.. that is how people know me. but like you said I dont care at all. less Social networking means more time for me to Build and Design parts for Motorcycles and BBQs with SolidWorks.
PAY FOR EMAIL? never did that.. I remeber when HotMail tried to make me do that (i think that was 1996 or so).. I called them up and said no way would I ever pay for email. And I havent. so back in 96' I switched to Excite.com email and have had the same account since then (yep the same email for 15years gets a lot of spam hehehe). I have a sonic.net account that i get for free back from when i worked for them. and works great with Outlook or Louts Notes.

I canceled my FB account.. never had a My Space one.. and I will never ever have a Google+ one.. i barely use my google email as well.. might cancel that soon too.. I am so tried of these corps using my data for their own ends and not giving me anything in return. Also I have family members that cant read FB becuase they are blind or almost blind. In the last two updates they did, the almost blind person can now read much much less on the main FB page and is so frustrated with it, they are ready to toss the PC out the window. there is so many many ways they could make a Prius all electric.. like this for example.. your car gets radio stations.. use it.. your car travels down the highway but you only get power from breaking? lame.. what has become of wind turbines that generate energy? why not attach two to the front end of a Prius and have unlimited power coming in if your stopping or moving power is regenerating.

Creating a monopoly of MP3 players in stores (example Target) pisses me off more than most anything now a days.. dont get me wrong, not like i would spend $$$ in a big box store on a MP3 player. But if i had too i would like the choice of not being a mindless idiot and being stuck with a Product that you cant even use to its full potential because of it being locked down by an evil company that wants you to pay for the rest of your life to use such product. I was looking at my 2TB drive wondering where to start with that mess, let alone my 1TB with just Live Dead and Phish shows.. and decided that I can stream my OWN music via Shout Cast and not have to deal with lame Clouds. I'm going to make an Anti-Cloud based server.. it'll be called GroundedTube. You upload your files you want to be deleted and we will delete them for you.;-0 oh wait they already did that. next idea, Carrier Pigeon well tie your flash drive to a Pigeon and fly him to your work so you can have your music there.. oh wouldn't just be cheaper and easier for me to just carry my own flash drive, oh yeah duh. come on people now.. it is 2011 already.. I have had a car stereo that plays MP3s since 1999.

sounds like what i can do in PS3 home now.. invite people over to "my place" and we can watch videos on my virtual TV and talk at the same time.
