    That is not socialism, it's incompetence. Making sure that work paid for (in this case rolling out telecoms infrastructure) is done properly is basic management and should be part of every system of government.

    It seems to me that copyright refers to the exact opposite of the right to copy. It is the "right" not to have copies made.

    With real property I can pay to have it shipped from another country. I can even do this with semi-real property (half real property, half IP) like DVDs and books. If the seller can ship IP thru the mail why cant they ship it thru the tubes?

    I'm not disagreeing with taxes but I thought I'd point out that the American founding fathers are not automatically right about everything. Isn't using "the American founding fathers said $X" as a reason for $X a bit lazy.

    I love the way they have swallowed the digg/torrentfreak bullshit of calling it 'file sharing' rather than theft or piracy. What next? is care jacking just 'car sharing'?

    The term filesharing covers sharing of any file, not just slightly dodgy files.

    What a joke. this site is practically an off-shoot of torrentfrek now. Its laughable to read this at the bottom:

    If they succeed in this, the only thing that will happen is that some of my news portals will have less actual content and more blogging/editorials/crap (like fashion and celeb news).

    blogging, editorials and crap are about the only things worth reading on most news sites

    They failed to install two very important bits of software. One of these bit of software is available completely free with full source code so it could be built for the cell architecture. The other shouldn't be too difficult to negotiate. How is it not their fault?

    I'm pretty sure we touched on Greeks, Romans, Vikings and Henry VIII when I was in primary school but it was mostly just interesting stories. Stuff like the greek myths and Henry's love life.
