Mind you what they're showing obviously appears to be a prototype; a proof-of-concept.
I imagine that if this thing were to hit production that it would definitely improve; thinner consolidated cables (if any), faster refresh rate, etc..
It might not exactly be bleeding edge but it's very promising!
It's been so long since I've been to a full service station that I thought they went way of the dinosaur. I guess this means I'll make to make a trip up to New Jersey just to satisfy my nostalgia. *DING* *DING*
It sounds a lot like Texas. A drive through Texas is like a drive through hell; a lot of nothing, a lot of heat and "last chance for gas for 900 miles."
According to ignorant religious people it only took 24 hours to get here despite the fact that "day" in Genesis is symbolic and massive evidence to suggest otherwise.
One thing about Battlestar Galatica is that it seemed to emulate naval combat more then air combat, in fact one of my favorite aspects of the show was how the inside of the Galatica, especially the CIC, was portrayed like a submarine; it gave it a very genuine feeling in my mind.
On a separate note; for some reason I was expecting an article about low-orbit aircraft carriers that drop aircraft right into the middle of enemy air space. Now how terrifyingly cool would that be?
Oh, you're referring to tablets, good, because there are more Android phones out there than there are iPhones; Samsung, alone, sells twice as many Android phones as Apple does iPhones.
Only because Samsung stole the idea of round corners
I had this happen to me. I emailed Paradox Software asking them to release the source code to Supreme Ruler 2020 under the GPL or whatever license they see fit because the game has a mountain of potential the community would like to improve upon.
The response I got was that although they'd be delighted to consider releasing the source code in their mind it was not an option because the code base includes third party code only they have a license to (they sighted MILES Sound System as one).
This is disappointing. Aside from the fact that this just goes to show how broken the patent system is, it's also a terrible loss to the consumer because the original Galaxy Tab is a great product (unfortunately can't say so much for the GT2).
Apparently Adam Savage from MythBusters was able to get onto an airplane with two giant 12" razor blades.
I'm sure some of the TSA's efforts aren't entirely useless but for the most part everyone knows the TSA's antics is just a security theater.
IMO the "terrorists" have won by terrorizing a world super power into being paranoid to the point of compromising it's own principals.
The EU is more interested in countering real problems like human trafficking rather then searching everyone's iPods for "illegal" mp3's on behalf of the MAFIAA.
I don't know about you but I certainly don't mind if they defrag my living room!

What you're describing sounds a lot like the Geth!

Does that include 13 year old girls? :S
Am I the only one who thinks this deserves the what-could-possibly-go-wrong tag?
Maybe they're trying to turn it off and on again, or perhaps they even dropped it!.
Yo dawg we heard that you like ban laws so we made a ban law to ban laws that ban.

Robots with grippers and an omni-wheel have a much more important purpose.
Don't assume everyone is as dim as you.
Yeah! Not everyone codes in QuickBasic!
I misread that as "No Bomb Powerful Enough to Destroy On-Rushing Android," so you can imagine my confusion.

Expect a lot of posts from people like "Ben Dover" or "Hugh Jazz".
Few things get on my nerves as much as trailers in MOV format. Thank goodness for YouTube!
Are you kidding me? I'm a grown adult and I love to watch Nickelodeon!

Dear god I hope you're not serious

That's how fascist governments are born as well.
