What about the different processor cores. Will Apple continue with one core and ignore core revisions until a significant time later?
At the school I work for, one teacher had me (school tech) install several games onto his machine. He used them as 'rewards' for students who did well in the class. I thought it was stupid, but the principal seemed to like the idea and made me do it anyways.
So would this be considered cold fusion? This is not , but from the article, it appears that it could be called cold fusion. Or am I wrong since I am not a nuclear scientist.
You still need an OS to get to these webpages. Sure, you could make a machine to boot straight to the web, but guess what, its still an OS accessing a webpage.
I personally would hate this too. What if your internet is down. Does that mean you can't use your comptuer at all?
i would love to still be working at CompUSA when the pentium name is finally dropped for good so that when a customer comes in looking for a new computer and says 'I don't care whats in it, I just need a Pentium 4', I can say, 'oh sorry maam, Pentium 4's don't exist anymore, how bout this AMD64'.
I feel so left out. I started with a Pentium 133. My dad hated computers until I was in High School. The only hatred more than that was his hatred for video games so I was consoless as well =*(

Don't forget that its the job of a parent to tell their kid to put their jacket on when its winter. It doesn't mean that its auctually cold outside, just the winter season.

I prefer to mainly hear the voice chat unless I am one of the key players for planning. But usually, its a bunch of 12 year olds acting all big because they know they will never meet the other person face to face.
I used to work at CompUSA and those earbuds are sold sepeartely. Not sure if they were ever bundled, but they are Apple brand earbuds. This guy suing is a freaking moron. Why not sue Ford or Chevy for making car stereos go so loud. I hope he gets laughed out of court!
I work in the IT Department for my school district. Its unfortunate that even we have these same issues. I think it comes from the high up people that have no idea what a computer. When we mention a hardware upgrade to our server, they are like, "What, that server is only a year old. Its practically brand new." No matter that it runs 24/7 with over 5,000 users accessing it. I feel that if you want to work in the IT department no matter what position it is, you should know about computers. Even if its in the basic areas. All those suits sitting in the expensive leather chairs wearing Armani suits should let auctual Techy people do what they do best.
How would China stop their citizens from using www.google.com instead of www.china.cn. Or, how about a proxy website? Do the internet providers in China filter out websites they are even allowed to use? Where I work, we use a program called Websense on our servers that does not allow certain websites to come up.
Just because there is a small percent of people, like you apparently, that don't believe in God, it doesn't mean that this man doesn't. Believe it or not, some people like to talk about God, err, Intelligent Design, whatever you wanna call it.
Why would anyone use this? I mean, the price will be about the same as a DVD, but will be a download. Why not then just go and buy the DVD? If you buy all episodes/movies you want and your hard drive suddenly desires to become a paper weight, then what? You have to re-download them all. Plus, you then have to buy blank media to burn them if burning is allowed. And if it is allowed, how does Warner Bros expect the people from just re-ripping and sharing it on another P2P network? It sounds good and like its for the people, but it sounds like Warner Bros just wants to make the same amount of money they are, but no production costs of DVDs and all that stuff.
I agree with what you said. Blizzard is protecting these people that want to join the guild from harrassment. I am a happily married man with a baby on the way. One time someone dueled me in WoW and because I beat the snot out of me, he started saying I was a fag and was whispering him dirty things. Then I started getting flamed from all directions. Did I do any of that to him, no (except the beating him in a duel). I had to put several dozen names on my ignore list. I removed all the names a month later and had to re-add a few of them. Immaturity exist in the game, but sometimes if someone is joking around or just being stupid, it can come off as insulting and harrassment. Don't forget, these people can't hear how they are being spoken to, text looks just like text and you will take it the way you want to take it, and it usually turns bad even if the other person is just carrying a joke too far.
