Ya, jail time would be great. However, you have to wonder how much money he made from the spam e-mails. There is always the tracker id on those links in e-mails. He got something for all clicks done.
I say kick him in the nuts, give him a cardboard box to live in and drop him in the middle of San Francisco with a sharpie and blank sign.
If you think about it, many theories through time have been proven wrong. What makes us think that just because we are making the theories now, they are absolutely right. That suggests resupply from greater depths, which normally would generate certain gases and deep earthquakes. Neither is being detected.' Obviously this 'normal generation of gases and earthquakes' is wrong. It only takes one instance to prove it wrong. However, the person that made this speculation originally will probably defend this makeing more guesses at why this isn't happening in this certain guess. And to Caspain's comment. For centuries, modern men of the time thought the world was flat. So much, they dared not venture to the edge. They also thought the universe circled the Earth. But as science progressed, they were proved wrong. Yes I do think science research should continue. And yes, even publically though it sucks to see how much of my money gets taken out through taxes. But its one of the few guarentees in we have. Life, taxes and death as the old saying goes. Evolution, yes, species change over time. We, as well as the animal kingdom, adapt to our environments. Survival of the fittest exists. But evolution as the creation of life to me doesn't exist. Fine, teach evolution in the schools. I will just make sure I teach my children how life started contrary to how the schools teach it.
My Xbox is modded, mainly because I am too lazy to get up and switch the game disc when I want to play a new game. But come on, pirate 77 games and sell it bundled. Ya, talk about someone that was slapped with a stupid stick a few too many times.
Agreed. I use google for fast searching. I could use Yahoo and still get accurate searches. But I like the simplicity of Google's interface. And though I have a 3MBit connection at home, I still want my page to load fast. I guess that if Google goes on to put graphical ads in their search pages that take up more bandwidth and slows the page down, I can always use www.google.com/pda Its the google page for...you guessed it...pda devices. Check it out, the power of google and the simplistic design for fast loading.
Ya, the purevideo is not the same as NVidia's Forceware drivers. Its a seperate product. ATI's Catalyst drivers have always been free. It seems that they are just adding this into the catalyst driver. NVidia's thing is a completely seperate thing.
Maybe with Blue-Ray discs starting Microsoft may be halting HD-DVD in the 360 to see how Blue-Ray will take. Microsoft may support HD-DVD, but it is still a money making company. If Blue-Ray makes money, they may switch to Blue-Ray.
So this small guy, Kazaa, has to take responsibility of its software, but large companies like Sony don't need to take responsibility of their software. Thats a thinker.
I haven't bought a CD in over three years nor have I downloaded (legally or illegally) a song from the internet. Whats the point when I can turn on the radio and listen for free.
I used to watch TechTV quite a bit. Though everything said on the shows like Call for Help and The Screensavers never really taught me anything I didn't already know, it did help to show me how to relay this information to other people. Being a computer tech for a school district, I not only need computer skills, but also people skills. Those shows helped me learn how to convey information to my teachers I assist. Now, I can watch X-Play which seem to be mostly re-runs and the man show when I need mindless humor and bouncing breasts. The channel now rarely ever comes on my TV. It was a shame TechTV is gone. It helped all the n00bs out there with their new Dells.
Wow, with a good number of companies going forward with BlueRay, this delay might be makin them sweat. As for rebuying my already purchased DVDs, that won't happen. But I will start buying HiDef DVDs as long as the player plays my current ones and the price of the disc doesnt' jump in price any.
Perhaps no good music has been released. I mean come on, how many rappers do you need with gold teeth rapping about riding on Dubs in their Escalade. After a while, it all sounds the same.
As my last post, I do think a lot of those numbers are bogus. Secondly, you have no idea my knowledge of computers, both hardware and software. I do have Win2K around, but no time to have to do a full format and install of it as well as putting back WinXP and all the software I have on my box. Our exchange gets over 15,000 e-mails a day of which 10,000 e-mails are spam (which get filtered). Of those, maybe 20 or so have virus' in them and get cleaned automatically. I have my Windows firewall turned off at home and have a number of ports open. I do have a router at home, but its firewall is turned off and I do have the same open ports on my computer opened on the router so they forward to my system. No, I don't have SP2 streamlined into CD because...I am not sure why, I guess I never think of it when I am installing. I run the 200+meg download from the internet I have on my external HD. So I guess all in all, I seem to have a digital guardian angel over my shoulder because I have never lost any data to a virus and have only had one or two virus' in my life.
My wife would want one since all she does is type her book on it. Plus in 3rd world countries, you can either have this computer or...nothing. Hmmm, me thinks Intel is just pissed because they didn't think of it first and don't have intel chips in it. They know these things will sell real well in 3rd world countries and make nothing off it.
"My human dad can beat up your klingon dad's butt"

Hope microsoft doens't read slashdot, they might try to sue each of us individually.
So would this make Wolly Mammoth the other other other white meat after a bit of cloning?

Yes, and evolution isn't real. Just a theory about how life started. So, then what do they teach?

So by stacking a bunch of these iddy biddy pyramids together, we get one big one. Whoa...Nobel is knocking.

Since when are drivers charged for? Man, my tab must be a hell of a lot from NVidia then.
Yet another reason Widipedia.org shouldn't be used for auctual reference.
You can almost hear the voice of Nelson from The Simpsons right about now going "HA HA".

Yet another ploy for the record industry to put fear into individuals. I hope one day the record industry burns and dies.

If you remove Solitare from the system, the people will raise up and attempt to over throw you.
Stupid Americans (yes, I am an american).
i can now harass someone via text messages and not worry about them having any evidense on their phone.
