    Not everyone wants a $10 off voucher for some Sony product as compensation for losing an important feature (to some).

    The legal system doesn't work when going up against large corporations.

    The MPAA has sent a team of lawyers to the auction to ensure the set is not used and only for display. The lead attorney said "When considering any potential copyright infringement penalties we must remember that this equipment is able to receive entertainment on many frequencies, each of which could be used to transmit copyright infringing media. This set quite clearly shows that the analog hole is still used and needs to be closed".

    Thats fine if you want to run a game on a 1080p monitor. These sorts of cards are designed to run 3 x 30" 2560x1600 monitors at a decent frame rate.

    I agree but the older ones do feel dated and 'holding a purple sheet of fur over your head' to play a monster is hard to swallow for most people.

    Avoid Colin Baker and Peter Davidson (especially any with Adric) and its good cheesy SciFi entertainment.

    Crysis is a better example. The engine used in Crysis 2 (Cryengine3) has been dumbed down so it'll work on consoles.

    I suspect they want algorithms that will find more links between people. Guilty by association and all that.

    Hmmm. I wonder if 'six degrees of separation' works with terrorists. With better algorithms they can reduce it to five or even four.

    While they are impressive, those are compressed 64k executables. They use a lot more than 64k of ram.
