Right. Even at that point, when it was small teams and low budgets, doing a great game alone was nearly imposible just because the design needs a mix of insanity and control that is hard to do alone!
He said iCal, not ical. iCal is an application, released by Apple, for Mac OS X. ical is some tcl/tk calender. Personaly, I just go with Sunbird everywhere else - it's rough around the edges (OK, the center is rough too:P) but meh.
I haven't had any problems with az... Hell, i've played Half-Life 2 with Az running! Then again, I just upgraded from a p2 286mhz to a AMD Athelon64 2ghz, so maybe i'm more tolerent of poorer proformence...
Hmmm... well, he is mostly right, i've seen porn ads on all sorts of sites. And wasn't ICANN planing on doing something simmiler?
It's rediculas only because it doesn't work, though. If someone finds a way to limit porn to certain ports/tlds/dns servers/subethanet channels/whatever that works, I'd support them in a heartbeat.
Google does NOT read every email. It goes through a computerised filter to supply ads. No different than a spam filter. How come no one complains about Yahoo, MSN, and 99% of other email providers, free or not?
the GPL is a contract, you are breaking it, so breach of contract might be a better term. How about this: violating copyright law on gpled code? A little longwinded, no?
Does that meen Best Buy and Wal*Mart (and local music stores, not that I even know where those are) are (L)GPL violators too? They distributed the CDs...
The problem is false positives, mostly. WGA isn't very good at seperating legal and illegal copies...
So we should just cound ourselves lucky it wasnt ASS KONG vs HAMMERMAN. Nintendo would have been the first company to release a gay-sex arcade game!

those thousands spend more time trying to find the right spot and fighting over files than they do working, probably.
And you will die. We've seen Embrace, Extend, Extinguish before. We aren't going to let Microsoft get away with it again.
Now, if those extentions go through Oasis and get added to the standard somehow, ignore everything I just said and more power to you
What country? America. "Civil Rights" is basicly a synonym for "Doing What Big Corporations Want You To Do And Nothing Else" these days
So that the ladies can have bigger breasts in less time, of course!
Yeh, but China doesn't have oil!

Seconded. Too bad iCal is Mac-Only, eh?
cat? You mean you write programs for felines?
if you meant the program, you should have said sed/awk/bash.

You meen CONFIRM the myth, right?
I want to use it on school computers - they wwould just be getting what they deserve for flat-out refusing requests to get Firefox installed.
So true... I wish I had mod points fore you.
Me thinks maybe we should focus our energy on helping those who are in a bad situation because of birht, not because they signed a nasty contract.
And for artists: Check out Magnatune, 50/50 profit split and you retain the rights to your music.

All those still need IPs. And here is something that you might find interesting:
Not everyone has a domain name.
Well, technicaly I beleve they do, but in many peoples case its the million-char-long one your ISP assigns so you have one for RDNS lookups.
Like Jabber. if my IP was 1:2:3 then my fancy Intenet Coffee Pot would be 1:2:3:coffeepot1

Upgrade! I have a nice pair of peril-sensitive sunglasses right here I'll sell for $42.
iTunes runs on GNU/Linux? Where? And is it Free?
jabber's main network then.
I wish google would get S2S working!
I'm there! Oh, wait, food brownies. Never mind.
